Loving the Fringe Reviews.  It's a show a lot of people I know like and I tried to watch it, I tuned into the pilot when it first aired because I really like Joshua Jackson as an actor.  Yes he was on Dawson's creek but all of those kids were pretty decent actors, and he acted circles around them.  (Also, he started in the Mighty Ducks, he was the main kid, Charlie).  I didn't even know about John Nobel being in the show till much later, I also really dig him as an actor.  About 20 minutes into the pilot I gave up, because I was bored with the show so far, the actors didn't grab me and I hadn't seen Joshua Jackson yet.  

Listening to your reviews I think the only characters I could be interested in are Peter and Walter, Joshua Jackson and John Nobel.  I may end up watching the show eventually, but I'm really digging how you review it, I can follow the story along and with the clips it makes it really fun.  I also get to skip the boring parts :)

Oh you should really give a try. Fringe grows on you and by the en you'll Joshua Jackson even more :D

the show improves a LOT over the first season, you really should give it another try.

I second Shayne's endorsement. Strong hints as to what's coming by end of season one and season two really gets the ball rolling. I'm nearing the end of season 4 and really enjoying all the "mythology" that's built up.
