My inspiration for this discussion group was my participation in a
similar science book discussion group through the UU Church of Santa
Monica a few years ago. It's a great way to keep abreast of the
issues in science, math, and technology; and a great excuse to build
up that home science library!

I'll compile a list of books that members suggest as candidates for
discussion. Some links below provide some (...body else's)
suggestions.

I propose that once a month we get together to discuss a book on the
list. At each meeting we will decide on next months' book, and
propose new candidates.

These meetings can take place at Starbucks or over food and drink in
members' homes. We can decide where and when in an ad hoc manner.
