Hi,

A request for any references, sources etc., or just simply points of
view.

It concerns human factor research and VR.

A) Would it be true to say that the construction and development of VR
systems has increased the amount of human factors research generally?

B) Would it be true to say that the construction and development of VR
systems has raised a number of human factors research problems
which would possibly never have 'surfaced' through other means
and methods (by this I mean factors of general nature, not relating to
the human use of VR systems specifically)?

C)Going by the assumption that human factors research has
traditionally been done (like most other science) by different people,
different labs, different methods, has VR human factors research
demanded a more holistic overview, perhaps focusing more on the
*configural* aspects of , say, the perceptual system?

Much obliged!
