newsgroup ceasing operation 
  As we announced a few days ago, the Usenet newsgroup sci.techniques.mass-spec will no longer exist after about December 31. Georgia Tech has decided to decommission its news server and allow the software license to expire. That will take place sometime this weekend. We have been approving articles from here at Tech, and the IT people have decided to decommission the news server and allow the software license to expire on December 31. Who uses air compressors for their nitrogen generators? 
  Hey All, Long time absence from this group. We are looking to buy a new air compressor to feed our Nitrogen generators. Two units under scrutiny are the Atlas Copco Scroll compressor and the Powerex scroll. We are presently operating on an Atlas Copco oilscrew nad are leaning toward an oiless system. Looking for comments from folks who use air compressors for their
