Old Timers Reunion.

Since we got on an Old Timer's kick over on sci.space.policy....

A fun thread on the space shuttle safety enhancements post Challenger. Henry
sets me straight on ejection seats and mentions what would eventually become
that extend-able pole thingy to keep folks from colliding with the orbiter's
leading wing edge when bailing out.

"Fun" simply from the nostalgia perspective. This thread ends on a
particularly disconcerting note. Sorry no disrespect intended.

...What if we just left it at an "Old Timer's Reunion"? Might be good
to see who hasn't decided to join Pat in spraypainting "MAXSONS GO
HOME!" all over the walls of the Pearly Gates :P
