Water or lack of on the moon

Does anyone have predictions about the results of the LCROSS experiment?

I think there is some water in those southern dark craters. But if the rocket stage had hit a serious ice deposit NASA
would have announced preliminary results within a few hours.

So I see two possibilities.
1- The rocket stage hit a bedrock outcrop. Would this explain the small amount of material ejected?
2- There is some ice but it is in very small quantities.

Any thoughts?

They aren't interested in data or lack of it Fred, they're interested
why reality didn't match overblown hype in the PAO videos.
