Why not send fungi into space 
  WHen they were sending rockets to crash into the moon in search of water, I was wondering why we don't get some thermophilic anaerobic microbes from underground and send them to different planets to see what happens, maybe they will create more hospitable environments and anyway, they will do "exploring" for us better than most robots.... more »
