THERE SOULD BE ABSOLUTELY NO DISCUSSION ON THIS BILL WHATSOEVER!!
THE BILL SHOULD NOT EVEN GO INTO DEBATE!!
THE ESTIMATED INCREASE IN THE NATIONAL DEBT WILL ENSLAVE FUTURE
GENERATIONS OF AMERICANS FOR 150 YEARS IF THIS BILL IS PASSED!!!
The cost to businesses and individuals will begin in FY 2010, with a
burgeoning tax rate HIDDEN in the cracks and crevices of the 1990 page
bill, WITHOUT ANY BENEFITS TO THE MAJORITY OF TAX-PAYING CITIZENS FOR
THE NEXT FOUR YEARS!!!
http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/budget/
These expenditures will add to an UNSUSTAINABLE 25.4 TRILLION NATIONAL
DEBT BY 2019!!!

RE: Please REJECT Socialized Health Care!
Dear [Sen.] [LAST NAME]:
I'm writing to ask you to please REJECT H.R. 3962, the "Affordable
Health Care for America Act," or any OTHER attempt to force socialized
health care or government-mandated health insurance on Americans.
This plan would create rationing through government committees, force
all Americans to buy over-priced, politically created health
insurance, establish "end-of-life" panels, create an economically
unsustainable government-run insurance plan, use taxpayer funds to
insure illegal aliens, and impose economy-crushing taxes. More than 88
million Americans could LOSE their private, employer-based coverage.
Yearly premiums for Americans with private coverage could jump as much
as $460 per person as a result of more cost-shifting. Even doctors
stand to lose thousands of dollars of income under the legislation.
Annual physician net income is estimated to drop by 6.3 percent or
$13.4 billion (coming in at an average $18,900 per physician) when
compared with current trends.
This is OUTRAGEOUS, and YOU must stop it. Please, do the RIGHT thing
-- REJECT H.R. 3962, the "Affordable Health Care for America Act," or
any OTHER attempt to force socialized health care or government-
mandated health insurance on Americans. Thank you.
Sincerely,
[YOUR NAME]

We all remember when President Obama stood in front of a joint session
of Congress -- and LIED. He LIED when he said they weren't planning to
set up "end-of-life panels" -- his cronies have promoted the idea for
a long time now. He LIED when he said his "reforms" wouldn't insure
illegal aliens -- it has been clearly shown that there would be NO WAY
to prevent this from happening. He LIED when he said that his
"government option" health care plan would not force taxpayers to pay
for abortions -- the Obama-backed House bill would explicitly
authorize the federal government insurance plan to pay for elective
abortions and would explicitly authorize taxpayer subsidies for
private abortion insurance.
The American people are TIRED of being lied to -- which is why over
ONE MILLION of us went to Washington, D.C., to bring the voice of the
MAJORITY to the doorstep of Congress. You see, the "sleeping giant" in
America has been awoken... and we aren't going back to sleep... not
while our own government tries to cram a socialist health care plan
down our throats!
And on top of all of this... the fact remains that we can't AFFORD
this plan! In the face of an estimated $1.85 trillion federal budget
deficit for FY2009 and projected trillion dollar annual deficits for
the foreseeable future, how can anyone in Congress vote for this
health care plan, which will cost over $1 trillion over the next ten
years? Plus, Congress is facing at least $53 trillion of unfunded
liabilities due to its passage of the previous entitlement programs,
Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and the recent addition of
prescription drug coverage for Medicare. How can anyone in Congress
vote for a new entitlement program for health care when Congress has
not even begun to face up to this unfunded liabilities problem?
Well, they're trying to -- but WE can stop them, with YOUR help!
TAKE ACTION: Even the Democrats are now admitting that it's
conceivable that we might not even get passage this week on the
usually perfunctory motion to proceed to debate. That's because
Republicans will filibuster even that, requiring 60 votes... and there
are at least two Democrats who could join that filibuster.
BUT THEY NEED TO HEAR FROM US TO BE CONVINCED!
We CANNOT let the radical liberals in Congress -- and the White House
-- force this plan for socialized health care on the American people!
That's why we've set up our website to enable you to send a strong
message to every single member of the U.S. Senate, OPPOSING this
outrageous plan.
For about what it would cost you in time and telephone charges, you
can send Blast emails to Democrats, Republicans, Independents --
EVERYONE in the U.S. Senate, DEMANDING that they REJECT this
socialized health care plan NOW

PLEASE contact your Senator and let him know that you are disgusted

Thank You!!!
You mean having a healthy America is a bad thing. You must be
Republican and perhaps kosher to boot.
And otherwise, why shouldn't every doctor, medical insurance
executive, pharmaceutical executive and malpractice/liability lawyer
own a fleet of Lamborghinis, as well as work and live in a palace and
otherwise retire early at full pay plus COL perks?

> THERE SOULD BE ABSOLUTELY NO DISCUSSION ON THIS BILL WHATSOEVER!!
You should report this to the Department of Homoland Security!
They know exactly what to do with people like you who whine a lot.
The system is fine just the way it is.
IMO most doctors DON'T own the things you criticize them of owning -
in fact I'll bet a kidney to your scalp that the majority of doctors
are too busy paying off their doctoral matriculation rather than
looking for a new home in the Hamptons - most of the trial attorneys
prosecuting TORT cases between the bureaucracy and the insurance
companies will be the ones making all the payola.
Besides, I really don't care HOW much a good doctor can earn - if he's
the only one that can do what he does best, then good for him -
there's no competition! (Not yet anyway).
Searching for a treatment to be performed by a doctor should be as
easy as thumbing through the yellow pages and getting a second, third,
even fourth opinion on the treatment!
You want government to disqualify the thousands and thousands of
specialists who can treat seniors (seniors who can actually afford
their insurance), while at the same time trying to dictate WHAT
treatments should be offered?
THAT IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!!
Yet THIS BILL will give the government the ability to authorize
treatment for millions of presently illegal aliens by instantly
naturalizing them as voting citizens!
As this phenomenon permeates through our medical establishment, more
general practitioners will recognize the goldmine of business that it
will bring for a mass produced general treatment, and the bureaucracy
will then intervene UNCONSTITUTIONALLY to make it illegal for
cerrtain citizens (let's say, over 55), to receive specialized
treatment!!!
ARE YOU INSANE?????
Besides, there have been discovered tens, if not hundreds of taxable
liabilities that this health care bill will bring upon citizens!!!
THIS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE REPRESENTATION!!!
THIS IS OPPRESSION!!!
Brad Guth, by doing nothing you have become irresponsible to the rest
of what's possible for the free market system to achieve in a free
market economy. Please wake up before its too late!!!
ughhhh....
> Brad Guth, by doing nothing you have become irresponsible to the rest

There are two free 'markets' in this country. One is the political system
which is largely demanding healthcare reform. And this demand is
a result of the shortcomings of the economic market place. Namely
leaving tens of millions uninsured and costs outpacing inflation.
This bill is only half finished, the final product is yet to be known.
But it seems it will address three primary problems.
First, if it requires health insurance of all citizens, that would
add maybe 20 million new customers for the health insurance
companies. It's the health insurance companies that wants forced
coverage. Which should lower costs by bringing in the millions
of healthy younger people into the insurance pool. The health
insurance companies love the idea of millions of new paying
customers which rarely file claims.
And another is subsidies for lower income people.
And not letting medical history determine cost or denial
of coverage. It doesn't make sense to make the sick pay
so much more, as the sicker one is, the harder it becomes
to make money.
I'm for all three, even it if does raise taxes. It's the right thing
to do and the costs are a burden any civilized society has a duty
to pay.
Economic Darwinism is fine in the market place when it comes to
culling bad products or stupid ideas, but not when it comes to
culling....people. It's ok for a market place to leave the least
competitive product or business model behind to wither and die
from the competition. But with health care, doing that leaves
individuals ...behind....to suffer and die. The government must
demand the economic market place be as inclusive/fair as possible.
And then step in for those still left behind. The govt has been lax
in it's oversight of this fundamental issue.
If the private sector can't out-compete a govt run heath insurance
company, then the need for this legislation has been proved.
You are wrong.

> leaving tens of millions uninsured and costs outpacing inflation.
Where did you get this number?

No, it won't.

There are child labor laws which prevent those healthy young ones
to put money into the insurance pool.

> And another is subsidies for lower income people.
Wrong. Small businesses will stop providing medical insurance
as a benefit, pay the "fine" to the government and tell their
employees to get their insurance from the government. That
insurance pool will be in the red 2 months after it opens
its enrollment period. I also figure that enrollement
period will be too short and the data entry and data processing
will be so overwhelmed that not many people will be able
to get that insurance. Thus, technically, they will be breaking
the law will be penalized.
You should examine what those penalties are. If they continue
to emulate Massachusetts' medical insurance edict, the
penalty will be to keep all of your withholding plus force
you to pay in more.
> And not letting medical history determine cost or denial
> of coverage. It doesn't make sense to make the sick pay
> so much more, as the sicker one is, the harder it becomes
> to make money.
But they will be creating a deficit in the insurance pool
which will cause a denial of service to those who aren't
as sick. That will cause those who aren't very sick
to become sicker which will cause them to stop working
and contributing to the pool.
And that's just the first couple of years after the bill is
passed.
>
> I'm for all three, even it if does raise taxes. It's the right thing
> to do and the costs are a burden any civilized society has a duty

All you'll be doing is paying piles of money for medical
insurance; this will never guarantee access to the actual
medical services you need or want. Most people
will go to another country to get their medical needs
met.

You are insane and know nothing about how work gets done. Do you
really believe that Medicaid works wonderfully and pays for all
the medical services that are needed? For that matter, do
you really believe that Medicare provides and pays for all
the medical services that are needed? If you believe all this,
why do people who have Medicare buy supplemental medical
insurance policies? Take a look at all the supplemental
options AARP offers.

There is no blinder man as the one that doesn't want to see
You really missed the boat on that one.
What makes you believe every statistic printed by the U.S. government
is the only truthful statistic?
You are literally setting yourself up for disaster!
43% of the "uninsured" (~20 million) earn more than 2.5X the poverty
level ($55.1K/annum)! They do this voluntarily because, well, most of
them are perfectly healthy and would rather not pay their health
premiums because maybe, they'd prefer a new (washer/dryer, automobile,
save for college, etc.)...
On the other hand, YOU WANT TO FORCE ALL PEOPLE IN AMERICA to be
insured - and it would be AGAINST THE LAW, under this legislation, to
be uninsured!!!
You, like sooooooo many other snookered, dumbfounded, and hornswaggled
automatons of the bureaucracy would rather be controlled by all the
bureaucrats signing on to this CONSTITUTIONALLY ILLEGAL LEGISLATION
rather than accepting the plain facts!!!
The facts are, that it is NOT the government that will actually
create, or is even currently replacing the LOST JOBS as a result of
proposing new tax legislation, or by destroying small businesses all
across the country through salary caps, or by hamstringing large
energy corporations with over-environmentalized legislation, it is
lazy people all across the country who want to bury their heads in the
sand in the hope that maybe the problem will just 'go away' if nobody
does anything about it....
Pure B.S., if you ask me....
First and foremost, Americans have to wake up and make a VERY
EMBARRASSING EXAMPLE of corruption at the highest levels of government
- and this INCLUDES HEALTH CARE REFORM!!!
HEALTH CARE REFORM WILL NOT SOLVE THE JOB CRUNCH CRISIS - IT WILL ONLY
CONTINUE TO EXACERBATE TENSION AND CONFUSION FOR POSITIVE LAW TO
PREVAIL OVER NEGATIVE LAW - TOTALITARIANISM IS NOT THE ANSWER!!!
American
"The framers were not drunk with power - they were empowered by
character, and hard work builds character - NOT WELFARE."
The numbers are all over the place, from 45 million if you
take the numbers from the left, to maybe 8 million from
the right side numbers.

No more fascist than having all taxpayers share equally
in other public services, like fire and police etc. Or would
you deny those services also to those that don't pay?
>

They would only flock to the public option if it were the
cheaper policy. And if it is cheaper, then it's worth is
proven.
The biggest problem for small business is that tiny risk pool
combined with much larger administration costs/per person.
Most of the bill is designed to help small business by increasing
the pool. They just don't want the mandate.
There is a huge difference between fire and police services,
funded by the local governments and medical _insurance_.

No, its worth is not proven. The paperwork for paying the
"penalty" is a lot less than the paperwork for insurance/
employee. Employees are also opting for paying the "penalty"
because it's cheaper than paying the premiums.

Honey, the whole bill is designed to eliminate small business
and force the medical business to become <ahem> socialist
(an understatement).
