NASA Cover-Ups Continue.
NASA Dismisses Former Apollo Photo and Data Manager from JPL Educational
Program
Missing Apollo Data to be Shown at National Press Club Briefing Oct. 30
Dr. Ken Johnston, former Manager of the Data and Photo Control Department at
NASA's Lunar Receiving Laboratory during NASA's manned Apollo Lunar
Program, was abruptly terminated Tuesday morning, October 23rd, from JPL's
prestigious "Solar System Ambassador" (SSA) Program. All evidence of Dr.
Johnston's exemplary 4-year participation in the NASA outreach effort to
"communicate the importance of NASA aerospace programs to the public around
the world" has been scrubbed from the official JPL SSA website, without
formal notification of Dr. Johnston as to cause.
Johnston is a key participant in the upcoming October 30th, 2007 Enterprise
Mission press briefing at the National Press Club in Washington, DC (Zenger
Room, 9:00 AM). At that time, Johnston will reveal how NASA ordered him to
destroy key Apollo lunar images and data more than 40 years ago, rather than
allow them to be preserved for academic and public study. Johnston will
testify how he disobeyed these NASA orders, secretly preserving the critical
Apollo images-and the never-officially-published lunar discoveries recorded
on them. According to AP, NASA is currently embroiled in a similar
controversy with Congress because of the agency's planned destruction of
supporting data from a recent aviation safety study.
Johnston's startling Apollo allegations have recently appeared in a new
book, "Dark Mission: the Secret History of NASA," co-authored by former NASA
consultant and CBS Science Advisor, Richard C. Hoagland and Mike Bara, an
aerospace engineering consultant. According to Kay Ferrari, JPL Director of
the SSA Program (in a phone call to Johnston last week), it was Johnston
"being quoted [as] criticizing NASA in Hoagland's new book, 'Dark Mission,'"
that prompted her to ask for Johnston's resignation from the SSA Program.
When Johnston refused, citing First Amendment protections of free speech
afforded all NASA employees, even those at JPL, Ferrari apparently decided
to remove him arbitrarily from the SSA Program this week without cause.
JPL's ultimate decision to fire Dr. Johnston was initiated, according to
Ferrari's phone call, "by an initial inquiry to JPL from James Oberg, of NBC
News." Oberg is a former NASA contractor and a colleague of Johnston's at
NASA's Manned Spacecraft Center during the Apollo Program in the 1970's.
According to Ferrari, Oberg, in his e-mails, raised "serious issues
regarding Johnston's credentials" and his "crackpot accusations" against the
agency. Oberg's NASA contractor history begs ethical questions regarding his
efforts to get Johnston terminated, based on Johnston's testimony in "Dark
Mission" and intention to present further "missing" Apollo images and data
at the National Press Club.
Dr. Johnston will present documentation of his claims, credentials and key
role at NASA October 30th.

Meanwhile, guess whose Ambassador Program biography at the JPL PIO page
has suddenly vanished off the net?

Biographical Information:
Ken learned to fly in the US Marine Corps and in the 1960's he was one
of the 5 Test Pilots assigned to work with the Astronauts during the
Apollo Moon Program at NASA in Houston. His job was to help train the
Astronauts to fly the Lunar Module. He was one of the Test Conductors
and became the Test Director of the TM-5 Lunar Module Training Vehicle
that was used to train all the Lunar Mission Astronauts. In 1969 Ken was
responsible for controlling all the Data and Photographic information
generated from the Lunar Missions. He has three BS degrees in Aviation
and Aerospace Engineering, a Masters in Theology and his PhD. in Meta
Physics.
Now retired at the age of 61, Dr. Johnston raises miniature horses in
New Mexico along with 18 grand children."
So he was indeed in charge of the photos, and that part of his story
holds up.
"and his PhD. in Meta Physics." That could explain a lot. ;-)

At least he did do what he claims at NASA, and that's fairly rare for a
hoaxer.
That of course supposes he didn't BS JPL in regards to his past NASA
work, and they stuck it in his biography.
The biggest argument against his "finds" is that if lunar skyscrapers
had been seen by Apollo astronauts:
http://www.enterprisemission.com/images/ABQ-Conf/conf8.jpg
....we would have been all over that place like flies on a turd.
NASA would have loved it... their budget would go clean through the
roof. :-D
And the Soviet N-1 program would have very much stayed on the front
burner, no matter what it cost to make it work, just so they could find
the cool technology of the Moon-people.
The other interesting thing he claims is that he kept secret copies of
all of his data.
In the pre-small computer days that would have been tough, and if you
were caught with covert info on Moon LGM that you were secretly copying
and storing, the cigarette-smoking man would show up and that would be
the end of you and that data.

The JPL Solar System Ambassador Program is not a paid NASA position.
Solar System Ambassadors are unpaid volunteers. Volunteers are not
"fired" from JPL. They can be dismissed, though.

Okay, put in plain English. Oberg called JPL to say that this nutball's
resume was false. Just a guess on my part.
"Oberg's NASA contractor history begs ethical questions regarding his
efforts to get Johnston terminated... "
Uh huh ... instead of addressing the credentials question, put up some
irrelevant bullshit. Which is Hoagland.

In that case, I may have to sign up! My presentation: "Men Or Monkeys
For Mars?" is bound to be a hit at schools everywhere, particularly the
videos of the Bonobos mating in simulated Martian gravity.
The discussion of the 1965 Kecksburg, Pa.UFO sighting and the cover-up
by NASA that it was a prototype Soyuz with three Soviet chimpanzees in
it (Vlad, Joe, and Nikita), who were defecting (or it may be
"defecating" - my photocopies of secret NASA documents are a bit smudged
at that point, possibly with chimpanzee feces) will finally blow the lid
off of the real reason they were so hesitant to fly monkeys into space
again...anyway, that whole thing is bound to come out any day now
anyway: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071026/ap_on_go_ot/ufo_nasa

And that's just what will happen to me after I show the secret Apollo
astronaut photos of Boris The Moon Monkey's dead (and naked) body on the
Moon: http://www.astronautix.com/astros/bormp504.htm, and follow that up
by giving the sixth grade girls free birth control pills, the boys free
banana-flavored condoms, and both groups copies of my new book "Bonobo
Sex Secrets".
Then I'll explain the whole thing on "Coast to Coast" radio and make a
fortune off the book's sales.

With extreme prejudice?
Cut to image of Lisa Nowak packing her hammer into a duffel bag at
Corpus Christi NAS.
"I'd wanted another mission, so they sent me up one with room service.
Last time it had been Colleen Shipman.
They'd been grooming that little Air Force slut for one of the top
positions - head of DARPA, Vandenberg, maybe even Space Command itself.
But if anyone was going to take over space exploration from NASA, it was
going to be the Navy, not the Air Force.
And especially not some blue-suited Air Force bitch.
The letters suggesting inverting the astronauts name tags as there was
"no up or down in space" had been the last straw.
Shipman's methods had become "unsound".
They didn't mention that Shipman had inverted her and her underling's
name tags already, as well as their rank insignia.
And other personnel still knew who they were, and the fact that the
officers had upside down rank insignia on completely escaped them...that
had been embarrassing to say the least.
The only effect had been the enlisted men got more respect for their
perceived length of service, especially the master sergeants with the
five upper chevrons.
But it was "unsound"....so I was called in.
They had given me The NASA Space Flight Medal for that one...and I
wasn't even in their fucking space program anymore." ;-)

You folks recall what happened to that certain NASA safety engineer
and his entire family, don't you?
Not only did they manage to arrange that rather unfortunate encounter
with a locomotive, but also having scrubbed out his entire safety
report, as well as that of his field office and most of everything
else got scrubbed, almost like he never existed.
Perhaps something similar will happen to Dr. Ken Johnston. (does Ken
Johnston have a reliable posse that's packing heat?)

This may be critical also: http://www.thespacereview.com/article/954/1
"There are certain restrictions placed on Solar System Ambassadors,
however. Since they are participating in a program run by the Jet

JPL apply to ambassadors as well. Ambassadors are not allowed to solicit
speaker’s fees for events they report to the ambassadors. Authors are
not allowed to sell copies of their books at ambassador events, either.
Nuances exist, as with any ethics program, and a briefing at the
beginning of each year allows new and returning ambassadors to ask
questions of a JPL ethics representative."
By using his position to advocate a secret cover-up of NASA Moon
findings, he may have violated the ethics codes if it is shown that he
was making profits in any way of of Hoagland's books by endorsing them,
or that he had fabricated part of his resume to the Ambassador's
project, or claiming in public that he served in NASA in a capacity that
is not correct (such as being in charge of all the Lunar photo data if
that's not the real case).

Do Not Annoy Warp-Capable Aliens
Obviously Hoagland is another one of those bad Muslim types, along
with ulterior motives and hidden agendas, or perhaps just a real all
american bastard, that is if you believe a word of Bad Astronomy.
Guess what folks of Bad Astronomy naysayland; KAGUYA/(SELENE) will
have no problems in recording Venus along with Earth and our
physically dark moon as coexisting within the very same FOV, just like
Kodak film should have been capable of accomplishing, of an especially
vibrant looking Venus with those NASA/Apollo unfiltered optics.
China's (CNSA) moon mission: Chang'e-1 should become downright
interesting, that is if they can manage to keep their stuff from
running into JAXA's KAGUYA/(SELENE) mission of three orbiting items.
As reported, China's lunar probe will supposedly remain at roughly 200
km, thus keeping a safe 100 km distance away from the KAGUYA/(SELENE)
mission, at least that's plan-A.
(From The Yomiuri Shimbun, Oct. 29, 2007)
"China's space technology was already at a high level. China has
launched more than 100 Long March rockets since 1970, while Japan's H2-
A rocket has been launched only 13 times."
KAGUYA/(SELENE) HDTV/CCD imaging getting its first full solar dosage
or skewed saturation of those pesky raw secondary photons, including
those unavoidable near blue as created from the UV saturation that our
moon gets a full solar dosage of.
* http://www.jaxa.jp/press/2007/10/20071021_kaguya_e.pdf
* http://www.selene.jaxa.jp/index_e.htm
* http://www.kaguya.jaxa.jp/en/
Notice as to all of those unavoidable UV secondary/recoil worth of
bluish and/or extra violet saturation that KAGUYA/(SELENE) HDTV is
having to deal with, even though their having incorproated a
sufficient UV spectrum cut-off filter and currently using not more
than 1% worth of their HDTV dynamic range(DR), even so having no
problems with recording the physically dark moon along with Earth
that's not even half the albedo worth of Vemus which also has greater
than 2.6 kw/m2 of solar influx to work with. Far better images are
soon enough going to be accomplished, especially with those other
onboard CCD instruments that'll far exceed what most previous science
had to say about our extremely unusual moon, that's not all that
likely made of Earth.
Once their version of PhotoShop image colour adjustments are made, the
true depth of that physically dark contrast and spectrum of those
natural mineral rich moon colors will emerge (with far more extensive
scope than the naked human eye can detect), especially in the near UV
and IR spectrums that might give us further clues as to where all of
that sodium/salt has been coming from.
Once again, I'd have to say that it's really too bad that we still
don't have anything established efficiently within the moon's L1, much
less accomplishing those 1 meter/pixel images that eventually KAGUYA/
(SELENE) will manage to obtain towards the end of its one year
mission, as the KAGUYA/(SELENE) orbit becomes less than 10 km from the
lunar surface.

This following press event should have been at least half over by now,
with at the very least some viable info along with one good NASA/
Apollo image that we've never before seen, for getting usenet posted.
I wonder what's taking so long?
http://groups.google.com/group/sci.space.history/browse_frm/thread/f326915ff445ad01/85a4f5446390fdcc#85a4f5446390fdcc
Interesting as to how GOOGLE/NOVA sci.space.history and any other
usenet group as hosting this topic was so quick to cut us off at the
pass, just before this "NASA Cover-Ups Continue" of their National
Press Club thing got underway. I'm also getting summarily traumatised
by those extra butt-loads of their PC spermware/fuckware that's trying
every other dirty trick in their Old Testament book in order to
terminate my usenet access. Meanwhile, other usenet groups without
this topic have been much less affected.
I have no personal doubts as to the possibility of there having been
"ancient artificial ruins and technology on the Moon," as discovered
by our orbiting Apollo robotics (thought not as via astronauts) and
perhaps as such having been legally classified under the 1958 Space
Act by NASA for over 40 years.
As to the demonstration and analyzing one of those supposed secret
technologies retrieved by the Apollo crews, relating to the artificial
control of gravity, is entirely proof positive of the ongoing ruse/
sting nature of this forever hocus-pocus fiasco, of the silly hype
worth of infowar/infomercial spewing that's at the very disinformation
root of most all things NASA and pretend-atheists at the same time.
There is simply no possible way that Ken or Richard are actually rogue
agents working outside of MI5/NSA/CIA~NASA orchestration or
moderation, and still alive to be sharing such supposed secrets (far
less crimes would get such folks put into our secret prisons and if
need be waterboarded to death without so much as any speck of due
process). I would believe that it does our NASA much good having such
a insider ruse/sting ongoing, because it only makes everything else
NASA look all that more believable. However, if this press event
brings further attention to our physically dark and somewhat salty old
moon that's always saturated in gamma, plus especially X-ray and
double IR nasty by day, then so be it.
BTW, you folks do recall what happened to that certain other original
NASA safety engineer whistleblower and of his entire family, don't
you?
Not only did those pesky MIB manage to arrange that rather unfortunate
encounter with a locomotive, but also having scrubbed out his entire
safety report, as well as that of his field office and most of
everything else got scrubbed off the face of Earth, almost like he
never existed.
Perhaps something similar will happen to Dr. Ken Johnston. (does Ken
Johnston have a reliable posse that's packing heat?) Or, is this
simply another pretend sort of whistleblower ruse thing that our
government and NASA are really good at pulling off. (at least if I
were NASA, it's exactly what kind of stealth damage-control that I'd
be doing right about now)
It seems as though anything that further supports the notions of our
NASA/Apollo astronauts actually walking moonsuit butt naked on that
moon of ours is good enough, even if it comes by way of other
rusemasters trying to pull off whatever can suggest that we'd walked
on that dusty old moon with our unfiltered optics and Kodak film that
was somehow immune to such raw UV or even UV secondary/recoil photons,
and otherwise simply couldn't notice or much less record Venus.
It'll be downright interesting as to a head count and ID of those
attending this Enterprise Mission news event. I wonder what sort of
back page of which obscure newspaper or publication it'll get reported
upon? (perhaps Play Boy or LeapFrog will run something in pop-up
format)

my high school biology professor (one of the best teachers I ever had) did a
stint at NASA as a PR flack, going around to schools and whatnot giving the
NASA-future-of-humankind spiel. He returned to teaching three years later,
one of his better career moves.
Sad that NASA is so tighwad these days that they're trying to sucker private
citizens into giving the exact same BS sales pitches for free.

But they do send you materials to be used during your talks with the
kids, and therein lies a interesting thought.
If Johnston was accepting those materials and then going to schools and
saying things counter to the NASA talk he was supposed to be giving,
that could count as defrauding the government...the materials cost money
to manufacture and ship to him, and so he would be mis-use of government
funds and property in violation of his ambassador program agreement.
