Hi Peter. I see from a report in today's Daily Telegraph that you've
seriously got under the skin of that egregious AVN woman. Nice going. :)

Sylvia.

I'd thought about doing that, and George's comment reminded me. Now
I've seen the Telegraph article, and am appalled. How can that crazy
woman be allowed to pervert the system so badly? If this behavior is
legal, then her opponents should start using the same tactic against
her. If it is not legal, then appropriate measures should be taken, to
punish her for these offenses and discourage others from doing the same.
Wouldn't it make sense that children could be seen as under dire
threat from her and her organization, and therefore that she should be
prevented from approaching, or in any way contacting, children or their
parents?

Well, she didn't succeed in getting the AVO against Peter. There's
little that can be done to stop people from seeking AVOs in the short
term. If she persists in making meritless applications, then the court
may ultimate declare her a vexatious litigant, meaning that she'd need
the permission of the court before even making an application, but
courts are very reluctant to take such a step.

As for the actions of AVN against the parents of the child who died of
whooping cough, it arguably amounted to stalking, which is an offence in
NSW. Proof beyond reasonable doubt against a particual person could be
difficult, though an AVO might have been obtained. An application would
have to be made.

All in all, the AVN seems a thoroughly vile organisation.

Sylvia.

After going through the links I am of the opinion that you have a case
against them.
Mainly the libels but also you should be compensated for the time wasted
in courts.

However!
Well done.
