New free service - TechJournalContents – search current issues of 4,500+ technology journals

A brand new, free service which lets you to search across the current
issues of more than 4,500 scholarly technology journals from multiple
publishers, in order to find the latest research articles. Should be
of interest to researchers and others who want to keep up-to-date.
A number of the journals searched are freely available on Open
Access. For others, access to the full text of search results will
depend on institutional or personal subscriptions.
You can also save the results of searches as RSS feeds.
TechJournalContents ingests Tables of Contents RSS feeds provided by
numerous journal publishers such as Springer, Emerald, Inderscience,
Wiley Interscience, Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, IEEE, Sage, AIP,
IMechE, etc, and then uses the journalTOCs API, produced by the
journalTOCs Project, to deliver results to the TechJournalContents
service.
TechJournalContents is a new service from TechXtra ( http://www.techxtra.ac.uk/
), the service which helps you find articles, books, the best
websites, the latest industry news, job announcements, technical
reports, technical data, full text eprints, the latest research,
thesis & dissertations, teaching and learning resources and more, in
engineering, mathematics and computing. TechXtra is produced by the
the ICBL, Heriot-Watt University.
TechJournalContents and TechXtra are unfunded services, so we rely on
word-of-mouth to spread the word.
