Postdoctoral position in DNA nanoparticle synthesis.
Responsibilities include studying various chemical methods of
nanoparticle formulation and stability as efficient non-viral vectors
of DNA material into ocular tissue for gene therapy, developing
analytical methods for characterization and surface modification of
nanoparticles. Successful candidates should have Ph.D. degree in
chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, or a related field. A
strong background in molecular biology and nanoparticle formulation is
strongly preferred.
Postdoctoral position in molecular and cell biology of retinal
diseases
Projects will include using transgenic, knockout, and knockin mice to
investigate the mechanism of photoreceptor outer segment morphogenesis
and to design therapeutic interventions. Suitable candidates should
have a Ph.D. degree in molecular biology, cell biology, or in a
related field.
