use magnets to warp space time and have resulting un-folding of space
time pull us along?
We would not need high powered rockets to push us , rather use the
fabric of

Did your train of thought emerge from when I mentioned the
word "foment" ?... ... foam... CO2... fizzz... ahahaha....

When you release the cap at first some considerable amount of CO2 comes
out because it was bottled under pressure and the pressure now is much
lower. So the solubility has to decrease. The presence of impurities
(dirty glass) allows the formation of bubbles that allows the gas to
attempt to reach a solubility appropriate for the much lower pressure
under which the liquid exists. When you put back the cap after drinking
some the volume above the liquid is now greater than it was when the
bottle was full. So when you open the bottle again after some time some
more gas escapes from the bottle and you can even hear the hiss of the
escaping gas as the cap is loosened.
All of the above is consistent with the gas being dissolved in the
liquid. There is no need nor is there any evidence for some kind of
suspension of the CO2 in the liquid. If it were there would be bubbles
of the gas at all times while the bottle contained the gasified liquid.

Plus I can accept that I might not actually find anything. 90 years of
folks with a lot more education than me who dislike the theory a whole
lot more have tried *really* hard to crack it open.
Two other things come to mind:

But on the other hand, due to my education, I have a good clue of where
to look. We need new experiment before we can have new theory. Folks
have been doing it the other way around for the last few years.
Barring the oddities of dark matter and dark energy, which are well
under way to being explained in a non-shattering way, we have NOTHING.
We are only going to progress when we have something new to ponder.
Particle physics seems under control at the moment, though folks are
hopeful the LHC will break atoms in a new and interesting way.
Gravity is...meh. We don't have any decent proposed strong field tests,
much less a way to actually act on them. We don't yet have access to
really small seperation distances, we are still around the centimeter
range. Yet gravity is the one thing that really stumps folks. The
nature of mass and inertia continues to confuse.
We need someone to try something different rather than increasing
another order of magnitude on what we already know. I'm hoping gravity
probe B will say something new, but I won't be surprised when the
result confirms GR. I'm hoping LIGO will produce some interesting
questions, but I suspect at best we will simply get some refinements on
what is suspected to be known.
Or hell, mabey Uncle Al will break the equivalence principle. I wonder
what the story behind that is...
