The current firing of the head of the IRS by Obama and Atty. General Holder's investigation of the IRS are arguably distracting ruses from the continuation of the illegal activities of the IRS that started when the IRS was "empowered" by special laws to destroy the Italian Mafia specifically. That was an Illogical, Anti-Scientific (in fact, No Memory-of-the-Past) empowerment which only the relatively uneducated USA Public could accept with passivity. Nowadays, the "Secret Court", which itself is a mockery of supposed "Open Democracy" (not to mention a system of Public Referendums which only Switzerland has - Switzerland being the only nation that doesn't start or participate in Wars), arguably has empowered the IRS and other agencies to go after Libertarians, Anarchists, Secessionists, Anti-Taxation Rightists, Anti-War Leftists and Rightists, etc.
Are there any clues to related Illegal Government activities? Yes. Consider the Recruitment advertisements for the Navy, Army, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard on TV. The typical advertisements says in effect that the branch of the Military "keeps the world safe for Democracy." This is Anti-Isolationist, which some people undoubtedly applaud, but Isolationism is a real branch of our political spectrum in the Public, and to attack it is to attack Free Speech as well as take sides in our Political views. Moreover, there is no Constitutional Empowerment of the USA as "the World's Policeman". The John Birch Society frequently mentions that, and that "sponsorship" of criticism is mocked by many people since the group is so secretive, but remember that Pierre de Fermat of 1600s France was one of the world's most ultra-secretive pioneers of Probability, Cryptography, Calculus, Optics, Number Theory, etc. This also implicitly defends the use of USA Taxation for War and Incursions and Threats and Propaganda, which was rejected implicitly by voters in 2008 when McCain was defeated by Obama - who prompty turned into the Afghanistan War Supporter himself. Obama's own Party has Congressman Dennis Kucinich of Ohio, who has led the Anti-War faction of the Democratic Party and who frequently has sided with "Right-Wing" Ron Paul on this type of question.
