climate change has been food riots in the third world as the price of
food has increased due to its use in synthetic fuels (alcohol and
bio-diesel).
Easily fixed. Just remove the subsidies on agricultural production of
ethanol. It is a complete waste of time environmentally (ethanol
production from corn in the US uses almost as much fuel as it produces)
and forcing starving people to compete with SUV owners for agricultural
production is morally bankrupt.

The only "social upheaval" so far has been riots over food in third world
countries where the food has gone to make "biofuel", aka alcohol, in
a total waste of food, time, and money.
Expect more riots in the near future over electricity prices as "green"
electricity continues to drive up prices.
All unrelated to "climate change" and caused by Chicken Little true
believers with thier panties in a knot.

sustaining when fuel costs of growing and harvesting the crop are
included.
