I found it a bit difficult to follow the exposition at xxx.lanl.gov
as I don't have the neccesary background in advanced linear algebra.

a dialation -- it's a *twist*, leading to some odd
but measurable effects.
Light frequency ratio: sqrt(1-v/c) / sqrt(1+v/c)
Moving unit rod measurement by overtravel: sqrt(1-v^2/c^2)
Radar gun ratio: (1-v/c) / (1+v/c)
Measured mass gain: 1/sqrt(1-v^2/c^2)
(The muon storage ring is more properly a GR artifact, as the
muon is in a rotating coordinate system and experiences
an acceleration continuously.)

masterful exposé on special relativity with that highly
esteemed paper that made it into the arXiv.
I do wonder however if http://www.crank.net/ will be indexing

Hard to say, but I submitted your site to crank.net, so with
any luck, they'll index your stuff.

Most physicists evaluate research papers by reading the papers.
That's how you you earned distinction asa crackpot.
Fortunately, those kinds of errors in judgement are a good indicator
of just how out-of-touch he is with reality. It's always convenient when
someone is obliging enough to hand over his head on platter rather than
forcing people to search google to reference the evidence.
Physicists thought that they have evaluated Shubert's paper
with logic and reason but then got their butts kicked by the
mathematicians at sci.math:

It's easy to understand how superficial thinkers and
unthinking trolls could jump to your conclusion. Shubert
has discovered two very insightful derivations of the
Lorentz transformation. In his first derivation, Shubert
derives the Lorentz transformation logically from the
equations x'=x-uT and T'=T. This might seem remarkable
to the shallow and ignorant who don't understand Shubert's
paper and to those who haven't read Shubert's references.
Consider this support:
Richard J. Cook wrote the following in Physical Time and
Physical Space in General Relativity, Am. J. Phys. 72 (2),
February 2004:
"I often start my lecture on the meaning of the line
element in general relativity (GR) with the provocative
statement, 'In general relativity the Galilean transformation
of classical mechanics is just as valid as the Lorentz
transformation of special relativity, because all space-time
coordinate transformations are equally valid in general
relativity' (the democracy of coordinate systems)."
The only thing Shubert has done in his first derivation
is to interpret the equations x'=x-uT and T'=T in a general
relativistic context for special relativity. There is nothing
truly amazing or contradictory in Shubert's paper unless
you're a bigoted amateur or an ignorant troll.

I found it a bit waffly, and the tone a little bit patronising.
That said, it was quite good. Some nice concepts in there that you can
use to explain relativity to non-physicists.
If you found any part of Shubert's paper evasive or vague, you might
want to search Shubert's tutorial on that paper for a more detailed
explanation.
