And he ddn't invent the atomic bomb, just figured out the science
behind it science you no doubt don't believe in, including the famous
equation E=MC^2 not to mention other things like the Theory of
Relativity, both General and Special which has been shown to be true
time and time again.

United States created to build the bomb. All he did was, at the urging
of fellow scientist Leo Szilard, write a letter to President Roosevelt
urging him to do research because he was scared shitless that Hitler
would get it first.

Three bombs were seized from the Germans, and two of them dropped
on Japan. The bombs had German inscriptions on them on the earliest
fotos. And so on, according to latest publications.

The problem with this is, despite the popular misconception,
E=mc^2 has nothing to do with the design of, or even basic science
behind, fission or fusion weapons. E=mc^2 applies just as much to
chemical explosives as it does to nuclear explosive devices.

So it's at best misleading, and technically inaccurate, to say that
Einstein figured out the science behind the bomb. The science behind
the bomb was fission chain reactions, and those came later.

Hungarian scientist Leo Szilard on August 12, 1933. The neutron
had been discovered in 1932, shortly before.

That depends on the goal, doesn't it? If the goal is to convince the
liar otherwise, or to shut him up, it's not helpful. If the goal is to
rebut the liar's claims before the liar's audience, however, and reduce
the proportion of that audience that swallow the liar's claims hook line
and sinker, then it can be very helpful.

had published (the book is real), along with three others, on a shelf.
He then photographed the layout, and pasted the word "Bestsellers" and

The beautiful part about a propagandist's avocation is keeping other
people busy by exerting a minimum of effort on one's own.
It is easy to MAKE SHIT UP, in endless variations and at high frequency.
Requires no effort at all.
It is more difficult to rebut bullshit with facts and careful thinking.

The objective Starpucker has is not convincing any audience of the
things he says. His objective is keeping other people BUSY rebutting
him. The more people he has hovered around him, swatting down the

Yes I stand corrected on the relevancy of E-mc^2. And reading up
further on what prompted Szilard to ask Einstein to write the letter
it was indeed the was the demonstration nuclear chain reaction in 1938
proving the theory he postulated in '33, so Einstein had even less to
do with the bomb as I thought.

These guys back in the 30’s were thinking about atomic weaponry with
the mundane Uranium since they did not know how to enrich this element
separating the desired isotope from the rest. Since the isotope you
want is less than 1% of the mundane Uranium, the weight expected would
be at least 100 times heavier.

How did the Manhattan Project team actually attempt to enrich U235?
Declassified material mentioned three methods:

** Centrifuge – This was abandoned very early on due to technical
difficulties. The idea did not occur to these clowns that chemical
compounds of Uranium can be made gaseous or power to allow for
feasible centrifuge.

** Gas permeation – This method was seriously looked at but abandoned
in favor of the next method.

** Electromagnetic – This was the method of choice towards to end.
It depleted all silver supplies to make wires since copper was a
material of wartime necessity. The scientists and engineers were
using silver bricks as door stops and paper weight at Los Alamos.
Since U235 and U238 have the same electromagnetic properties, it is
rather silly to consider using electromagnetism to separate these two
isotopes. What they did was to accelerate one ionized Uranium atom at
a time. U235 being lighter will be deflected less. With gravity
assistance, they were expecting to collect samples of U235. Of
course, these clowns did not get anywhere.

In the meantime across the Atlantic Ocean, the NAZIs under Harteck
were using centrifuge technology to enrich U235. With enriched
Uranium, it would be just a matter of time before an atomic bomb can
be built and detonated. If the war would drag on for a couple more
months, several allied cities around Germany would be toasted.

The only way to enrich Uranium in modern times is also centrifuge. It
is amazing that logic, mathematics, and science can be the forensic
tools to straighten out history cooked with half truth and lies.

Einstein didn't write the letter. So that information came mostly from
Szilard, who was much more familiar with the relevant science, namely,
fission chain reactions. Similar things apply to knowing how much
territory it might destroy.

That sort of attitude is why the propagandists have mostly taken over
the "education" of America's youth these days, and they do poorly in
science compared to the rest of the world, among other topics. Because
vested interests are, by and large, opposed to the population being very
scientifically-literate. A scientifically-literate population is harder
to push tobacco, or dubious food additives that extend shelf life, or
creationism, or
it's-no-problem-to-keep-burning-all-that-oil-the-climate-is-just-fine,

I have a particular objective in mind there. In that case, the person
BELIEVES what they say, and moreover believes that they have arrived at

Because he understood the physics behind it and what likely materials
could be used given what he knew at the tiem. And indeed the very
first atomic bomb that was exploded at Trinity was way too big and
heavy to be able to be carried on a plane. It was through praactcal
engneering that they were able to shrink tthe bomb downto tthe size
and weight that a plane could carry and even then only by the largest
at the time the Boeing B-29 which didn't exist in the Summer of 1939
so the only logical way a A-Bomb could be delivered at the time given
what was known at the time by Einstien from both theorecttical and
what materials and delivery systems were availible the time.

This you got right you are correct in this case, but your whole notion
that Einstein created the A-Bomb is still incorrect. At best you can
say he used his prestige to get it built, but it was designed and
built by others. Einstein just understood the science and so was able
to describe what a bomb would do and its general physical dimensions
but that was in theory. Actually designing and building such a thing
was left to Robert Oppenheimer and his staff and it wasn't easy since
there were failures along the way. Still going from theoretical
description of Einstein's letter in August 2, 1939-today is the 73rd
aniversary of the letter-to detonating one in July 1945 and dropping
one on Hiroshima six years after the letter is pretty damn fast. Even
more remoarkable if you count from 1942 when the Manhattan Project
actually started.

Koobee Wublee would not call the one dropped on Hiroshima a complete
weapon since all it has to do is to fire a chunk of enriched U235
against another using a howitzer. <shrug>

That is just not true. On top of that, McArthur had no ideas who his
casualties would be attacking Okinawa beforehand. In fact, McArthur
was very lucky not to have suffered more casualties than historically
sustained since the Japanese were fighting a war based on the ideology
of chivalry. That would be at least 800 years out of date. <shrug>

Dude, you are the one who is entertained with the so-called conspiracy

The blockbuster bombs had to be placed very carefully, and depended on
an underwater pressure wave to carry the blast properly.

600 metres is well over a quarter mile from that hypothetical tank.
The idea of killing a tank with an explosion a quarter mile away would
have been incomprehensible to most WW2 planners.

I don't know whether the three nuclear bombs (Trinity and two Japanese
bombs) underperformed expectations as HW claims, but that part of his
claims is believable.
