Earth is like one large fuel rod made of uranium. The cataclysm
doesn't occur until ****sufficient**** Energy provokes the chain
reaction.

Cosmic rays are NOT sufficient to cause this chain reaction, where as
LHC will be the first time Earth is bombarded with ***THEE DENSEST***
Cosmic ray collision rate per square inch of Earth surface.

This may be the very cataclysm ****sufficient**** to provoke the
chain reaction and Earth's DEMise

Revelation:

The mountains were not, and the Earth disappeared as a scroll when it
is rolled-up.

[snip crap]

Yeah - mass, size, shape, density, composition, angular momenta,
binding energy, temperature, magnetism... absolutely indistinguishable

This disproves the black hole nonsense. We will all be dead. And of
course God won't allow that.

Actually, these are completely different scenarios.
In a uranium chain reaction, the products of one reaction become the
instigators of the next reaction, and so on. This is why it is called
a chain reaction.

In the LHC, the products of one reaction fly completely out of the
interaction region before the the reactants of the next reaction
arrive, and so cannot possibly become the instigators of the next
reaction. This is why no chain reaction is possible at a particle
accelerator.

Fundamental difference.

Note that the beams are circulating now, and you are reading news of
that.

There's no chain reaction--you need antimatter or negamatter.

R U quarreling over numbers or do you believe if conditions were
right, LHC would convert Earth into a black hole?

If so Mr. Sherlock, it is not the product of a chain reaction that is
a sole reactant but those that don't collide together as well and
there's PLENTY of those in the interaction region during the reaction.

These are not the product of the reaction but the fuel for the product
of the reaction.

What really disappoints me is the many that don't understand how to
read the above.

No, actually, there's not. That's the point.

There's one million times less of a chance of a reactant in that
region, yet that was your main point = 1st mistake.

2nd mistake is that actually there is.

And yet they still want to increase the power.

Calculate the power where you feel there should be a chain reaction
where there now isn't.
