On the one hand we have 2 opposing physical things:

Energy

or

Matter

on the other hand is our 2 opposing non-physical things:

Time

or

Distance

If,

the physical thing 'energy' is understood as the ability of a physical
body to do physical work.

Then

the non-physical thing 'time' must be understood as the ability of a
non-physical body to do non-physical work.
