Description: Info on fusion, esp. "cold" fusion.

reactor
I think that the power generated by the fuel and the power capacity of the output winding must match and that the tank circuit should have ten times the energy stored at is being drawn. So if 50 KW is being drawn then 100 KJ must be stored in the tank circuit and the ion pressure must be correct that the power generated by the plasma must equal the power... more »

50 KW reactor suggestion
It means "turns times winding current" if 40 mA is flowing in a 20000T winding then the current sheet is 800 A so the plasma curent is 800 A. The plasma is generated by the ionisation wire which is excited by 20KV 60KHz power supply. The ion pressure is 800.800.mu/D/length of winding. But since the... more »

Reactor 1
Hi, I did another run on reactor one with a better vacuum and with an ionisation wire. The GM dose meter lit up in the red and flashed. Indicating 7.5Sv/h. By turning the meter it looks like it was gamma radiation. The ionisation wire needed to be on. Dr Chris [link]... more »

run with reactor 1
I have done another run with reactor 1. I found and repaired an old high voltage (RF) generator that lights a fluorescent tube nearby and wrapped that round one end of the reaction chamber and at the other I earthed. Capacity coupled. I have a problem with the vacuum as it leaks.... more »

reactor 2 resonance system
'Program to find the inductance of a multilayer coil by summing the inductance of each layer and the effect of mutual inductance 'Inductance = 4.piE-7.A.n^2/l 'to find the final diametere of a multilayer coil and the length of wire 'each layer adds thickness to layer so first work out turns per layer... more »

Reactor
I had a problem when a plume of red fire came from the open vacuum system and my regulator 10 K pot used to set the power level fried. The content of the reaction vessel was air.. It was very sudden after the exciter had been running for some time so I am unsure what happened. Dr Chris... more »
