Nationwide drilling pump repair company has a new position for an
Assistant Operations Manager in our main plant in Texas. We are
growing and expanding!
We receive large mud pumps from onshore and offshore drilling rigs for
repair. We do not manufacture pumps but we will make needed parts when
not available from the OEM.
You will help manage our entire repair operations. You must have
operated or worked with CNC equipment for at least 5 years. You must
have personally made or repaired mud pumps. You should have leadership
experience and have managed a budget.

Position Responsibilities:
• Lead other team members to facilitate the disassemble, inspection,
and overhaul.
• As needed, monitor the operation of CNC equipment.
• Collect and prepare technical data for reports.
• Support the Operation Manager by providing day-to-day support on his
projects.
• Encourage safe work practices.
• Write clear and concise daily work records and job logs.
• Submit appropriate inspection and overhaul reports.
• Read and understand technical drawings and publications.
• Update daily work schedules as required.
• Attend daily safety meetings.
Position Qualifications:
• 5+ year's hands-on or strong familiarity with CNC equipment.
• Extensive knowledge of drilling rig pump repair.
• Leadership experience - this is more than a foreman position!
• A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent references from co-workers on production line.
• Legal authorization to work in the US for any US employer.
