Hi all

I am interested of knowing if there are any diagramming techniques
that are particularly good in helping a person to draw conclusions
about some material.

I hope my question is not too wide and vast;-P

I am mainly talking about a diagramming technique that would not be
limited to a specific problem domain but could be used in most fields.

If you know of one that you would like to recommend, any pointers to
material about the technique would be appreciated.

On another note...
Sometime ago I started looking for diagramming techniques that would
allow the user to spot a fallacy in some argument. Then I found out
that Venn diagrams can of course be used for this, and that Lewis
Carroll had come with his "trilateral" diagram. If you know of any
others that can be used with most types of arguments, I would
appreciate hearing about that as well.

Thanks in advance,

Look up the fish bone diagram or the cause and effect diagram.
