We have media converters inside standard metal electrical enclosures. All the cables entering the enclosure are fed through standard IP55 glands at gland plate at the bottom of the enclosure.
What is the standard practice for feeding fiber patch cords into such enclosures? A gland that can cope with the connector will not typically close down to the size of the cable. Further, duplex FO patch cords are not circular in section (they are two circles bonded), so the gland cannot seal.
How is this problem solved? I suspect some kit or standard part that I can't find despite extensive searching.
Regards,
Aleksander
