Linear Optimization (Standard) Files

The data associated with linear programming is stored and transported
electronically in files. For professionals handling these materials,
e.g. analysts and programmers, it can be very helpful to deal with
standard file structures, as proposed here: http://www.iging.com/optimization

To test particular algorithms, I need some real-life linear
maximization problems containing between 200 and 500 decision
variables; preferable, in the proposed standard format. My testings
could also serve as an easy venue to verify independently your
results.

Hans Mittleman does benchmarking on a number of software
implementations of optimization solvers. Here is his page for free LP
solvers. He does many other benchmarks as well on non-free solvers.
