Subject: PHOTO OF THE WEEK, Turkey-Tail
This is a very common fungus found just about everywhere in North America.

It grows on dead, deciduous wood. It's leathery flesh is uneatable but
it is an important decomposer of dead trees.

As the Latin name implies, it comes in many colors and shades of gray,
brown and red.
