Kent State Professor: 'Compelling Evidence for 9-11 Complicity'

Prof. Walter Davis writes, "In this article, I outline twenty-two items of
evidence and questions, each one sufficient reason to demand an
investigation into why September 11th was not prevented. Together, these
items suggest that the most plausible explanation of events is that the Bush
Administration was complicit in the terrorist attacks. This should be a
national and international scandal. What is being discovered will shock many
people, which is one of the reasons for deliberate corporate media coverup.
But a significant number of people within the U.S. see (or will see) the
consistencies in the events surrounding 9/11 as described below, and what
they know about U.S. foreign policy. Nevertheless, the degree to which this
Administration is pursuing a course of world domination at any cost is
unprecedented. One of the best ways of putting a halt to this destructive
course is to expose the Bush Administration and insist on their
accountability to the American people."

KERRY, DEAN, LIEBERMAN,GEPHARDT SUPPORT THE BUSHOCCUPATION OF IRAQ

John Kerry, Howard Dean, Joe Lieberman, Dick Gephardt All Support the
BushOccupation of Iraq

No American can rightfully call themselves a peace activist if they support
the Bushoccupation of Iraq.

When you support the Democratic candidates who support the Bushoccupation of
Iraq:

*You support sacrificing American lives for nothing at all -- except for the
OILY/GREEDY Bush-Cheney CorporateAgenda;

*You support the killing of Iraqis, period.

*You support paying billions and billions of our tax dollars to the
Bush-Lovin' Corporations "doing business in Iraq"

*You support forcing the Iraqi people to accept a government of your
choosing;

*You increase hatred and terrorism against America, by supporting the
BushOccupation of Iraq;

*You will NEVER SUCCEED IN FORCING THE PEOPLE OF IRAQ TO AMERICANIZE IRAQ!!!

British army admits brutalising Iraqi civilians
5 September 2003
http://www.wsws.org/articles/2003/sep2003/apol-s05.shtml

The British army has issued a public apology for brutally beating Iraqi
civilians in the town of Majar al Kabir, 120 miles north of Basra.

According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, on August 23 soldiers from the 22nd
Special Air Service (SAS) clubbed and kicked 11 Iraqis they falsely believed
to have been involved in the killing of six British military police officers
in the town on June 25.

The elite troops-which specialise in counterinsurgency operations and
counterrevolutionary warfare-used stun grenades to swoop on three houses in
the town, kicking in doors and lashing out with boots and rifle butts
against the occupants. A woman was amongst those injured.

The owner of one house in which nine men who were watching TV were arrested,
butcher Moayad Jabar, told the newspaper: "It was about 11 p.m. when
suddenly I heard an explosion and the door was kicked open.

"Lots of soldiers rushed in pointing rifles at us and screaming 'Down! Down!
Down!' Others came into the back at the same time. They made us lie down on
the ground and wouldn't let us speak. I was very afraid because I didn't
know what was happening.

"They started to pull my cupboard doors off and empty all my possessions on
the floor. The women and children were frightened and crying. Then the men
dragged us to armoured cars putting their boots on our heads all the way to
the army base."

Basim Hasan, also a butcher, received a black eye and cuts to his face. He
told the Mirror's reporter Tom Newton Dunn: "When I was lying down one of
the soldiers stamped on my head. My face hit the ground so hard I lost
consciousness."

Abdule Amer, a chemistry teacher, explained: "We didn't offer any
resistance. I asked one soldier 'Do you speak English?' But he kicked me in
the face, giving me a black eye and nose bleed."

The home of vegetable seller Choban Jasem was raided at the same time. His
sister-in-law had begged the soldiers not to hurt her children and was
struck over the head with a rifle butt in response.

Jasem, who is 62, said: "While I was on the ground, a soldier kicked me hard
on the nose. I started bleeding heavily.

"Then they dragged me to an armoured car outside through rocks on the
street, which gave me a big cut on my knee. I didn't know why they were
taking me and thought I was going to die. I kept asking them 'Why, why?' But
they told me to shut up."

The 11 were handcuffed and removed to the headquarters of the King's Own
Scottish Borderers regiment, where they were beaten again. Only after 18
hours, when it had been established from photographs and a list of names
that the wrong men had been arrested, were the group released.

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) in London claimed to know nothing of the
savagery of the SAS, despite the incident occurring almost two weeks before
the Mirror broke the story. A spokesman claimed it would investigate the
allegations but said it was unaware that any of the civilians had been
mistreated. Yet just one day later it was reported that the MoD has agreed
to pay a few hundred pounds in compensation to each of those arrested
because they were innocent.

However, a spokesman said the payments still did not mean the MoD accepted
allegations that SAS soldiers had abused the men during the raid. A
spokesman claimed, "Some people received minor injuries, but that is part of
the nature of this kind of operation."

He added that there is not likely to be any further investigation into the
matter.

Within Majar al Kabir itself, however, the armed forces were forced to issue
an unprecedented public apology for the troops behaviour, such is the
outrage amongst local people.

Town leaders warned the Mirror that British soldiers were now in danger.
Council leader Sadek Al-Hul warned, "I've told the British that people are
very angry with them over what they did. The next time soldiers come to
arrest anyone here I expect they'll be shot at." And Basim Hasan complained:
"My father and brother were hanged by Saddam Hussein because all my family
fought him. We welcomed the British. Now they've done this to us.

"The way we were treated is how Saddam's people would have treated us. They'
ve made a very bad mistake. I don't want to have to fight them like I fought
Saddam."

Like Basra, Majar al Kabir is a Shia town, and had been one of the centres
of opposition to Saddam Hussein's regime. But the increasing arrogance and
brutality of British forces, whose intrusive weapons searches of homes over
the last months have made the colonial character of their occupation clear,
has inflamed popular resentment.

The death of the six military police officers following one such raid was
the largest British loss of life in a hostile incident to date.

Fearing similar retaliatory action, Major Stuart Irvine of the British army
distributed an open letter offering his "humblest apologies" for the
incident, and pledging a full investigation and compensation for injuries
and wrongful arrest.

The letter accepted that "Eleven townsfolk were arrested and treated very
badly. All were arrested without reason.

"The incident happened as we are still trying to bring those people who
killed our six military police colleagues to justice."

The letter attempted to dissociate troops based in Majar from the SAS unit
responsible for the raid, stating, "The operation was conducted by a small
group of coalition forces. These people were not from Camp Abu Najir nor
were they the soldiers stationed in Majar."

The revelations of events in Majar came just one day after British army
officer, Colonel Tim Collins, was cleared by an internal investigation of
charges of committing war crimes in Iraq.

Collins had been lionised by the British press after he made a speech to his
unit on the eve of the war telling them: "We go to liberate, not to conquer.
If you are ferocious in battle, remember to be magnanimous in victory."

The colonel had been accused by a US army reservist of ill-treating Iraqi
POWs and civilians, but the MoD said no criminal proceedings or internal
disciplinary action would be brought against Collins who is now tipped for
promotion.

The colonel's investigation hit the headlines because he was cleared. There
have been numerous other charges against British soldiers for brutalising
Iraqi civilians, however, including photographs apparently taken by troops
showing them engaged in the torture of their captives. News of such
incidents is barely reported, and little details given of the outcome of any
investigations.

"The Americans have put themselves in such grave dangers and none of their
enemies would have been able to impose such dangers on them."

---
http://www.islamonline.net/English/News/2003-09/06/article06.shtml
Abbas Maddani, an Islamic leader recent release by Algerian authorities
after 12 years under house arrest, underlined that the United States has
become a threat not only to itself but also to the entire world.

In an exclusive interview with IslamOnline.net Saturday, September6 , Manani
said the world super power had put itself in a dangerous situation.

"The U.S. is now in grave danger, a danger that it has created for itself
and by itself.

"The Americans have put themselves in such grave dangers and none of their
enemies would have been able to impose such dangers on them."

The vibrant political leader, who would have been at the helm of his country
's power had he not been placed under house arrest after winning the
1982general elections in Algeria while heading the Front du Salut de L'
Islam(FIS), said : "I am sad with this situation but the U.S. has become a
danger to the world and to itself."

He expected that : "The American consciousness will take over; the people of
America will wake up."

Terrorism

Speaking of terrorism, Madani clearly said that it was just a game of words
used by those who wanted to tarnish the image of Islam.

"I do not like to use the word terrorists; it does not qualify the Muslims
fighting for their freedom. Terrorism is a slogan used by the enemies of
Islam," he said.

"With great piety, I would say yes I am a terrorist if terrorism means the
struggle for freedom of the people against the crimes and injustices of some
oppressive regimes. Then yes I would be a "terrorist."

"The same would apply to Nelson Mandela, the South African leader jailed for
32 years because he was struggling against apartheid and the same would also
apply to the Algerians who fought against French colonialization. Then we
all would be terrorists who fought for our freedom."

"If the fight for freedom, for liberation and for salvation of the people
means 'terrorism' then let it be known that we are all 'terrorists'," said
the respectable leader with force.

Speaking in Arabic and in French he said the Muslim Ummah will be united if
it went back to the practice of Islam, to the respect of the holy Qura'n and
the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad.

"Then only the Muslims would be able to practice Islamic brotherhood, which
is complimentary in Islam. Rasulullah (prophet) has said Muslims must give
an example in unity, like one single body and if one part of the body is
wounded the entire Ummah suffers,

"He said Muslims are like a construction. It is interlinked and holds
together firmly. The time for this unity is here and the Muslims must be up
to the heights to grab this great occasion, " Madani said.

"The Palestinian people are one example in the struggle for the liberation
of Muslims against oppression. The problem in Palestine is the core of the
problem that is affecting the entire Ummah.

"The people of Palestine has all my respect and they are the winners in this
struggle because oppression is not something of the present, it belongs to a
dark past. Colonialism is not the future, the future is in the camp of
Justice, " he said.

Reactive

Maddani, who remains an authority in the Muslim world, said time is ripe for
Muslims to wake up or it may be too late.

He earlier told the Muslims in South East Asia, where he is on a private
visit and is being treated for his weak health, that unity is important and
that it was time to put aside the differences, both political and religious,
in order to achieve brotherhood.

"The enemy is at the gates, please let us not squabble, let us unite and be
one as ordered by the Prophet of Islam," was Madani's message to the Muslims
of Asia and of the world.

"The recent events in Afghanistan and Iraq have opened the eyes of the
Muslims. These and the events in Palestine are altogether an awakening of
the consciousness of the Muslim Ummah, the people are now aware of the
dangers that is overlooking it," he underlined.

"The world is now a smaller place and all the elements such as communication
and other means of reaching each other are favorable to the Muslims.

"The people are ready, yet the problem now remains with the leadership, the
Ulama (scholar) and the elite of the Islamic world," added the Muslim
leader.

He said scholars were a clear example which showed that events are taking
them by surprise and they are unable to react swiftly to prevent outbursts
and negative reactions against Islam.

The same goes for the leaders of the Muslim communities around the world,
who instead of creating the events around them, were effectively being
overtaken by such events.

"The leaders of the Muslims are too slow to react to what is happening
around them, they are not up to the task and they are overwhelmed in a
sense," Madani said.

"The leaders do not understand the needs of the people anymore, the people
of Islam are not understood by the leaders and this can explain the
situation in the world of today," he added.

"There is a complete miscomprehension of the potential and capacity of the
Muslim population by the leaders of the Muslim world, " insisted the leader.

The Algerian opposition leader told IOL that events around the world showed
that the Muslims were now being given fresh opportunities to regain their
legitimacy.

"It's an occasion, a chance that Muslims have not had since the fall of
Spain - which was in the hands of the Muslims for 800 years - and this woke
the Muslims from a long slumber."

Seven in 10 Americans continue to believe that Iraq's Saddam Hussein had a
role in the 11 September 2001 attacks, even though the Bush administration
and congressional investigators say they have no evidence of this.

British commanders in Iraq are to adopt Ulster-style security measures in an
effort to limit attacks on troops. Police stations and buildings where
troops are billeted will be protected by anti-rocket screens, bullet-proof
glass and blast walls. Closed circuit television cameras will also be used
to provide all-round security for military bases from attack by former
Ba'ath Party supporters and al-Qaeda units operating inside Iraq.

Despite prewar assurances by the White House, President George W. Bush
acknowledged on Friday that the United States cannot count on Iraqi oil
revenues in the short-term to cover the country's reconstruction needs.
Bush, in an interview with CNBC, said he would ''look at'' one congressional
proposal under which Washington would be paid back with future Iraqi oil
revenues. "But first of all, the oil revenues in Iraq really aren't as
steady as they will be in the future. I mean I don't think we can count on
much in the short term," Bush said.

Bush seeks an exit strategy as war threatens his career
http://observer.guardian.co.uk/international/story/0,6903,1037015,00.html

We have a Prime Minister so focused on presentation that there is
inadequate consideration of the merits of policy. At the same time, there
has been a massive centralisation of power into No 10. And beneath the
smiling demeanour, a ruthlessness that is accompanied by a lack of respect
for proper procedure, and a willingness to be "economical with the
actuality". -- It is untrue that Labour was unelectable before Tony Blair
and Campbell took over. Most of the hardest reforms had been taken forward
by Neil Kinnock and many of us who served on the National Executive
Committee. Expulsion of the Militant MPs and revision of much of the policy
on which we fought the 1983 election, including unilateralism, was complete
before Blair joined the National Executive. It was also clear that the party
was ready for power, and was determined to be united and disciplined. I have
no doubt that Blair and Campbell's ruthless focus on presentation increased
our majority, but it is untrue that they were responsible for preparing the
party for power.

The Globalist (Rockefeller through the AL From, Bruce Reed, the Clintons)
wing of Democratic seeks to boot Dean and Kucinich from true particiaption
in party power, relegating them to outsider status like democrat Lyndon
LaRouche gets.
---------
The Democratic Leadership Council (DLC) is at it again. They're trying to
boot the only two Democratic presidential candidates whom voters will be
able to differentiate from, and elect over, George W. Bush come 2004.
Instead of supporting Dennis Kucinich and Howard Dean, who they without fact
or substance have branded and dismissed as the "activist wing" of the party,
the DLC is once more interested in preserving its repetitive and politically
destructive presence.

The Council, in control of the party and made up primarily of its
moderate-conservative leadership since 1985, has already noticed that Dean
(a political moderate by conventional standards) is making sizable campaign
finance and popularity gains.

Raising over $2.5 million and rapidly pulling ahead of Council-favored
Democrats, the former Vermont Governor has a lot of tactically-focused "New
Democrats" nervous. U.S. Congressperson Kucinich, meanwhile, has done the
same by breaking the $1 million dollar fundraising mark, and garnering wide
support from many left-leaning members within two of America's five major
third parties: the Greens and Natural Law Party.

The so-far and unanticipated success of a moderate-Democrat like Dean and a
traditionalist liberal-Democrat like Kucinich is not boding well, of course,
for conservative-Democrats sickly towing the party-swamping DLC line.
Candidates like Dick Gephardt, John Kerry, Joseph Lieberman and John Edwards
are all trailing and, not surprisingly, losing steam fast!

DLC bigwigs Bruce Reed and Al From are so nervous about this, they put out a
memo last week attempting to downplay the two progressive, and thereby
relevant, Democratic candidates by claiming their linkage as being merely
with "elitist, interest-group liberalism." If only the party were so lucky!
The reality is that codgers like Reed and From would rather have candidates
subscribing to DLC interests; that is, big oil, chemical manufacturers,
insurance companies and military contractor's interests!

Despite this, the Council already knows that most of the
below-the-Mason-Dixon-line-Democrats will never allow for
conservative-Lieberman's presidential nominating because he is Jewish. (Yes,
anti-Semitism still runs deep in the Deep South, folks!) This would
ultimately leave hardy-party established and DLC-backed
conservative-Democrats Gephardt, Edwards and Kerry to fight for the role of
Walter Mondale circa 1984.

The result of Gephardt, Edwards or Kerry versus Dubya, inevitably, would
continue four more years of the Bush crime syndicate leading wars for
empire, rising unemployment, stolen elections and corporate hijacking of
positions of power in government. In addition, Americans would continue to
witness the decline of a party already pegged for at least the past 20 years
as "GOP lite": the Democratic Party. The reality is that it's more than "any
Democrat in 2004."

With the DLC continually driving the head of the party so far up the rears
of pundits, polling, conservative PR pandering and corporate interests, the
average Joe and Jane is now being both ignored and stomped on by the
Republican and Democratic Parties. Inasmuch, the Democratic candidates who
would best serve these same everyday people have to contend with
counterproductive and unnecessary opposition from their own organizational
"leadership."

Speaking in terms of both electoral strategy and political principles, if
the Democratic Party wants another 2002 all it need do is continue to allow
the hijacking Council to hammer-away at their only truly viable candidates:
Dennis Kucinich and Howard Dean. After all, voters have shown time and time
again that when presented with fascist Republicans and fascist Republican
wannabes, they will choose the former not the latter.

Overall, the problem is not Kucinich or Dean, but simply with the
regressive, controlling conservative wolf in progressive's clothing known as
the DLC (Democrats Leaning Conservative). At this point, the only solid
alternatives for the Democratic Party are to expunge itself of such control
and develop into a genuine, watchdog opposition party ... or sadly
assimilate into the GOP.

As the alcoholic George Bush approached his 40th birthday in 1986, he had
achieved nothing he could call his own. He was all too aware that none of
his educational and professional accomplishments would have occured without
his father. He felt so low that he did not care if he lived or died. Taking
a friend out for a flight in a Cessna aeroplane, it only became apparent he
had not flown one before when they nearly crashed on take-off. Narrowly
avoiding stalling a few times, they crash-landed and the friend breathed a
sigh of relief - only for Bush to rev up the engine and take off again.

Not long afterwards, staring at his vomit-spattered face in the mirror, this
dangerously self-destructive man fell to his knees and implored God to help
him and became a teetotalling, fundamentalist Christian. David Frum, his
speechwriter, described the change: "Sigmund Freud imported the Latin
pronoun id to describe the impulsive, carnal, unruly elements of the human
personality. [In his youth] Bush's id seems to have been every bit as
powerful and destructive as Clinton's id. But sometime in Bush's middle
years, his id was captured, shackled and manacled, and locked away."

One of the jailers was his father. His grandfather, uncles and many cousins
attended both his secondary school, Andover, and his university, Yale, but
the longest shadow was cast by his father's exceptional careers there.

On the wall of his school house at Andover, there was a large
black-and-white photograph of his father in full sporting regalia. He had
been one of the most successful student athletes in the school's 100-year
history and was similarly remembered at Yale, where his grandfather was a
trustee. His younger brother, Jeb, summed the problem up when he said, "A
lot of people who have fathers like this feel a sense that they have
failed." Such a titanic figure created mixed feelings. On the one hand, Bush
worshipped and aspired to emulate him. Peter Neumann, an Andover roommate,
recalls that, "He idolised his father, he was going to be just like his
dad." At Yale, a friend remembered a "deep respect" for his father and when
he later set up in the oil business, another friend said, "He was focused to
prove himself to his dad."

On the other hand, deep down, Bush had a profound loathing for this perfect
model of American citizenship whose very success made the son feel a
failure. Rebelliousness was an unconscious attack on him and a desperate
attempt to carve out something of his own. Far from paternal emulation, Bush
described his goal at school as "to instil a sense of frivolity".
Contemporaries at Yale say he was like the John Belushi character in the
film Animal House, a drink-fuelled funseeker.

He was aggressively anti-intellectual and hostile to east-coast preppy types
like his father, sometimes cruelly so. On one occasion he walked up to a
matronly woman at a smart cocktail party and asked, "So, what's sex like
after 50, anyway?"

A direct and loutish challenge to his father's posh sensibility came aged
25, after he had drunkenly crashed a car. "I hear you're looking for me," he
sneered at his father, "do you want to go mano a mano, right here?"

As he grew older, the fury towards his father was increasingly directed
against himself in depressive drinking. But it was not all his father's
fault. There was also his insensitive and domineering mother.

Barbara Bush is described by her closest intimates as prone to "withering
stares" and "sharply crystalline" retorts. She is also extremely tough. When
he was seven, Bush's younger sister, Robin, died of leukaemia and several
independent witnesses say he was very upset by this loss. Barbara claims its
effect was exaggerated but nobody could accuse her of overreacting: the day
after the funeral, she and her husband were on the golf course.

She was the main authority-figure in the home. Jeb describes it as having
been, "A kind of matriarchy... when we were growing up, dad wasn't at home.
Mom was the one to hand out the goodies and the discipline." A childhood
friend recalls that,"She was the one who instilled fear", while Bush put it
like this: "Every mother has her own style. Mine was a little like an army
drill sergeant's... my mother's always been a very outspoken person who
vents very well - she'll just let rip if she's got something on her mind."
According to his uncle, the "letting rip" often included slaps and hits.
Countless studies show that boys with such mothers are at much higher risk
of becoming wild, alcoholic or antisocial.

On top of that, Barbara added substantially to the pressure from his father
to be a high achiever by creating a highly competitive family culture. All
the children's games, be they tiddlywinks or baseball, were intensely
competitive - an actual "family league table" was kept of performance in
various pursuits. At least this prepared him for life at Andover, where
emotional literacy was definitely not part of the curriculum. Soon after
arriving, he was asked to write an essay on a soul-stirring experience in
his life to date and he chose the death of his sister. His mother had
drilled it into him that it was wrong when writing to repeat words already
used. Having employed "tears" once in the essay, he sought a substitute from
a thesaurus she had given him and wrote "the lacerates ran down my cheeks".
The essay received a fail grade, accompanied by derogatory comments such as
"disgraceful".

This incident may be an insight into Bush's strange tendency to find the
wrong words in making public pronouncements. "Is our children learning?" he
once famously asked. On responding to critics of his intellect he claimed
that they had "misunderestimated" him. Perhaps these verbal faux-pas are a
barely unconscious way of winding up his bullying mother and waving two
fingers at his cultured father's sensibility.

The outcome of this childhood was what psychologists call an authoritarian
personality. Authoritarianism was identified shortly after the second world
war as part of research to discover the causes of fascism. As the name
suggests, authoritarians impose the strictest possible discipline on
themselves and others - the sort of regime found in today's White House,
where prayers precede daily business, appointments are scheduled in
five-minute blocks, women's skirts must be below the knee and Bush rises at
5.45am, invariably fitting in a 21-minute, three-mile jog before lunch.

Authoritarian personalities are organised around rabid hostility to
"legitimate" targets, often ones nominated by their parents' prejudices.
Intensely moralistic, they direct it towards despised social groups. As
people, they avoid introspection or loving displays, preferring toughness
and cynicism. They regard others with suspicion, attributing ulterior
motives to the most innocent behaviour. They are liable to be superstitious.
All these traits have been described in Bush many times, by friends or
colleagues.

His moralism is all-encompassing and as passionate as can be. He plans to
replace state welfare provision with faith-based charitable organisations
that would impose Christian family values.

The commonest targets of authoritarians have been Jews, blacks and
homosexuals. Bush is anti-abortion and his fundamentalist interpretation of
the Bible would mean that gay practices are evil. But perhaps the group he
reserves his strongest contempt for are those who have adopted the values of
the 60s. He says he loathes "people who felt guilty about their lot in life
because others were suffering".

He has always rejected any kind of introspection. Everyone who knows him
well says how hard he is to get to know, that he lives behind what one
friend calls a "facile, personable" facade. Frum comments that, "He is
relentlessly disciplined and very slow to trust. Even when his mouth seemsto
be smiling at you, you can feel his eyes watching you."

His deepest beliefs amount to superstition. "Life takes its own turns," he
says, "writes its own story and along the way we start to realise that we
are not the author." God's will, not his own, explains his life.

Most fundamentalist Christians have authoritarian personalities. Two core
beliefs separate fundamentalists from mere evangelists ("happy-clappy"
Christians) or the mainstream Presbyterians among whom Bush first learned
religion every Sunday with his parents: fundamentalists take the
Bibleabsolutely literally as the word of God and believe that human history
will come to an end in the near future, preceded by a terrible, apocaplytic
battle on Earth between the forces of good and evil, which only the
righteous shall survive. According to Frum when Bush talks of an "axis of
evil" he is identifying his enemies as literally satanic, possessed by the
devil. Whether he specifically sees the battle with Iraq and other "evil"
nations as being part of the end-time, the apocalypse preceding the day of
judgment, is not known. Nor is it known whether Tony Blair shares these
particular religious ideas.

However, it is certain that however much Bush may sometimes seem like a
buffoon, he is also powered by massive, suppressed anger towards anyone who
challenges the extreme, fanatical beliefs shared by him and a significant
slice of his citizens - in surveys, half of them also agree with the
statement "the Bible is the actual word of God and is to be taken literally,
word for word".

Bush's deep hatred, as well as love, for both his parents explains how he
became a reckless rebel with a death wish. He hated his father for putting
his whole life in the shade and for emotionally blackmailing him. He hated
his mother for physically and mentally badgering him to fulfil her wishes.
But the hatred also explains his radical transformation into an
authoritarian fundamentalist. By totally identifying with an extreme version
of their strict, religion-fuelled beliefs, he jailed his rebellious self.
From now on, his unconscious hatred for them was channelled into a fanatical
moral crusade to rid the world of evil.

As Frum put it: "Id-control is the basis of Bush's presidency but Bush is a
man of fierce anger." That anger now rules the world.

forget US military deaths -- we are turning our sons, husbands, brothers
into mental basket cases, drug addicts -- mentally scared for life

World War One made the organized crime figures of the 1920's, with machine
guns in violin cases

Viet Nam according to Zhou Enlai's strategy made tens of thousands of US
soldiers into drug addicts -- a habit which they brought home with them

The occupation of Iraq will create of our sons, husbands, brothers and
fathers no brutalized men, new addicts, new mental cases -- with a "shell
shock" all its own

If you do nothing about this it is because you merely want to talk and
pose -- not save these precious lives or the country's future.

Robert Fisk -- dispatch from Iraq

In the Pentagon, they've been re-showing Gillo Pontecorvo's terrifying 1965
film of the French war in Algeria. The Battle of Algiers, in black and
white, showed what happened to both the guerrillas of the FLN and the French
army when their war turned dirty. Torture, assassination, booby-trap bombs,
secret executions. As the New York Times revealed, the fliers sent out to
the Pentagon brass to watch this magnificent, painful film began with the
words: "How to win a battle against terrorism and lose the war of ideas..."
But the Americans didn't need to watch The Battle of Algiers.

They've already committed many of the French mistakes in Iraq, and the
guerrillas of Iraq are well into the blood tide of the old FLN. Sixteen
demonstrators killed in Fallujah? Forget it. Twelve gunned down by the
Americans in Mosul? Old news. Ten Iraqi policemen shot by US troops outside
Fallujah? "No information," the occupation authorities told us last week. No
information? The Jordanian embassy bombing? The bombing of the UN
headquarters? Or Najaf with its 126 dead? Forget it. Things are improving in
Iraq. There's been 24-hour electricity for three days now and - until two US
soldiers were killed on Friday - there had been five days without an
American death.

That's how the French used to report the news from Algeria. What you don't
know doesn't worry you. Which is why, in Iraq, there are thousands of
incidents of violence that never get reported; attacks on Americans that
cost civilian lives are not even recorded by the occupation authority press
officers unless they involve loss of life among "coalition forces". Go to
the mortuaries of Iraq's cities and it's clear that a slaughter occurs each
night. Occupation powers insist that journalists obtain clearance to visit
hospitals - it can take a week to get the right papers, if at all, so
goodbye to statistics - but the figures coming from senior doctors tell
their own story.

In Baghdad, up to 70 corpses - of Iraqis killed by gunfire - are brought to
the mortuaries each day. In Najaf, for example, the cemetery authorities
record the arrival of the bodies of up to 20 victims of violence a day. Some
of the dead were killed in family feuds, in looting, or revenge killings.
Others have been gunned down by US troops at checkpoints or in the
increasingly vicious "raids" carried out by American forces in the suburbs
of Baghdad and the Sunni cities to the north. Only last week, reporters
covering the killing of the Fallujah policemen were astonished to see badly
wounded children suddenly arriving at the hospital, all shot - according to
their families - by an American tank which had opened up at a palm grove
outside the town. As usual, the occupation authorities had "no information"

But if you count the Najaf dead as typical of just two or three other major
cities, and if you add on the daily Baghdad death toll and multiply by
seven, almost 1,000 Iraqi civilians are being killed every week - and that
may well be a conservative figure. Somewhere in the cavernous marble halls
of proconsul Paul Bremer's palace on the Tigris, someone must be calculating
these awful statistics. But of course, the Americans are not telling us.
It's like listening to Iraq's American-run radio station. Death - unless
it's on a spectacular scale like the Jordanian or UN or Najaf bombings -
simply doesn't get on the air. Even the killing of American troops isn't
reported for 24 hours. Driving the highways of Iraq, I've been reduced to
listening to the only radio station with up-to-date news on the guerrilla
war in Iraq: Iran's "Alam Radio", broadcasting in Arabic from Tehran.

It's as if the denizens of Mr Bremer's chandeliered chambers do not regard
Iraq as a real country, a place of tragedy and despair whose "liberated"
people increasingly blame their "liberators" for their misery. Even when US
troops on a raid in Mansour six weeks ago ran amok and gunned down up to
eight civilians - including a 14-year-old boy - the best the Americans could
do was to say that they were "enquiring" into the incident. Not, as one US
colonel quickly pointed out to us, that this meant a formal enquiry. Just a
few questions here and there. And of course the killings were soon
forgotten.

What is happening inside the US occupation army is almost as much a mystery
as the nightly cull of civilians. My old friend Tom Friedman, in a break
from his role as messianic commentator for the New York Times, put his
finger on the problem when - arranging a meeting with an occupation
official -- he reported asking an American soldier at a bridge checkpoint

Enemy. That's how the French came to see every native Algerian. Talk to the
soldiers in the streets here in Baghdad and they use obscene language - in
between heartfelt demands to "go home" - about the people they were
supposedly rescuing from Saddam Hussein. A Polish journalist in Karbala saw
just how easily human contact can break down. "The American guards are
greeting passers-by with a loud 'Salaam aleikum' [peace be with you]. Some
young Iraqi boys with a donkey and cart say something in Arabic and
suddenly, together, they run their fingers across their throats.

"'Motherfucker!" shout the Marines, before their translator explains to them
that the boys are just expressing their happiness at the death of Saddam
Hussein's sons ..." Though light years from the atrocities of Saddam's
security forces, the US military here is turning out to be as badly
disciplined and brutal as the Israeli army in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
Its "recon-by-fire", its lethal raids into civilian homes, its shooting of
demonstrators and children during fire-fights, its destruction of houses,
its imprisonment of thousands of Iraqis without trial or contact with their
families, its refusal to investigate killings, its harassment - and
killing - of journalists, its constant refrain that it has "no information"
about bloody incidents which it must know all too much about, are sounding
like an echo-chamber of the Israeli army.

Worse still, their intelligence information is still as warped by ideology
as was the illegal Anglo-American invasion of Iraq. Having failed to receive
the welcome deserved of "liberators", the Americans have to convince
themselves that their tormentors - save for the famous Saddam "remnants" -
cannot be Iraqis at all. They must be members of "al-Qa'ida", Islamists
arriving from Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Pakistan ... Among its
1,000 "security" prisoners at Baghdad airport - the total number of
detainees held without trial in Iraq is around 5,500 - about 200 are said to
be "foreigners". But in many cases, US intelligence cannot even discover
their nationalities and some may well have been in Iraq since Saddam invited
Arabs to defend Baghdad before the invasion.

In reality, no one has produced a shred of evidence al-Qa'ida men are
streaming into the country. Not a single sighting has been reported of these
mysterious men, save for the presence of armed Iranians outside the shrines
of Najaf after last month's bombing. Yet President Bush and Donald Rumsfeld
have talked up their supposed presence to the point where the usual
right-wing columnists in the US press and then reporters in general write of
them as a proven fact. With powerful irony, Osama bin Laden's ominous 11
September tape suggests that he is as anxious to get his men into Iraq as
the Americans are to believe that they are already there.

In practice, fantasy takes over from reality. Thus while the Americans can
claim they are being assaulted by "foreigners" - the infamous men of evil
against whom Mr Bush is fighting his "war on terror" - they can equally
suggest that the suicide bombing of the UN headquarters in Baghdad was the
work of the Iraqi security guards whom the UN had kept on from the Saddam
regime. Whatever the truth of this - and the suicidal expertise of the UN
attack might suggest a combination of both Baathists and Islamists - the
message was simple enough: Americans are attacked by "international
terrorists" but the wimps of the UN are attacked by the same Iraqi killers
they helped to protect through so many years of sanction-busting.

There are foreign men and women aplenty in Baghdad - Americans and Britons
prominent among them - who work hard to bring about the false promises
uttered by Messrs Bush and Blair to create a decent, democratic Iraqi
society. One of them is Chris Woolford, whose account of life in Bremer's
marble palace appeared only in the internal newsletter of the UK regulatory
Office of Telecommunications, for whom he normally works. Mr Woolford
insists that there are signs of hope in Iraq - the payment of emergency
salaries to civil servants, for example, and the reopening of schools and
administrative offices.

But it's worth recording at length his revealing description of life under
Bremer. "Life in Baghdad can only be described as bizarre," he writes. "We
are based within a huge compound... in Sadam (sic) Hussein's former
Presidential Palace. The place is awash with vast marble ballrooms,
conference rooms (now used as a dining room), a chapel (with murals of Scud
missiles) and hundreds of function rooms with ornate chandeliers which were
probably great for entertaining but which function less well as offices and
dormitories ... I work in the 'Ministries' wing of the palace in the
Ministry of Transport and Communications. Within this wing, each door along
the corridor represents a separate ministry; next door to us, for example,
is the Ministry of Health and directly across the corridor is the Finance
Ministry. Behind each door military and civilian coalition members (mainly
American with the odd Brit dotted about) are beavering away trying to sort
out the economic, social and political issues currently facing Iraq. The
work is undoubtedly for a good cause but it cannot but help feel strange as
our contact with the outside world - the real Iraq - is so limited." Mr
Woolford describes how meetings with his Iraqi counterparts are difficult to
arrange and, besides, "key decisions are still very much taken behind the
closed doors of the CPA (the Coalition Provisional Authority), or for the
most significant decisions, back in Washington DC". So much, then, for the
interim council and the appointed Iraqi "government" that supposedly
represents the forthcoming "democracy" of Iraq. As for contacting his Iraqi
counterparts, Mr Woolford admits that Iraqi officials are sometimes asked to
"stand outside in their garden between 7pm and 8pm so that we can ring them
on satellite phones" - a process that is followed by the departure of CPA
staff for their meeting with "bullet-proof vests and machine-gun mounted
Humvees (a sort of beefed-up American Jeep) both in front and behind our own
four-wheel drive..." Thus are America and Britain attempting to
"reconstruct" a broken land that is now the scene of an increasingly cruel
guerrilla war. But there is a pervading feeling - among Iraqis as well as
journalists covering this conflict - that something is wrong with our
Western response to New Iraq. Our lives are more valuable than their lives.
The "terrible toll" of the summer months - a phrase from a New York Times
news report last week - referred only to the deaths of Western soldiers.

What is becoming apparent is that we don't really care about the Iraqis. We
may think we want to bring them democracy but, on an individual level, we
don't care very much about them or their lives. We liberated them. They
should be grateful to us. If they die now, well, no one said democracy was
easy.

Donald Rumsfeld - who raged away about weapons of mass destruction before
the invasion - now admits he didn't even discuss WMD with David Kay, the
head of the US-led team looking for these mythical weapons, on his recent
visit to Baghdad. Of course not. Because they don't exist. Mr Rumsfeld is
equally silent about the civilian death toll here. It's the followers of his
nemesis Bin Laden that now have to be publicised.

Bin Laden must be grateful. So must the Palestinians. In the refugee camps
of Lebanon last week, they were talking of the events in Iraq as a form of
encouragement. "If Israel's superpower ally can be humbled by Arabs," a
Palestinian official explained to me in one of the Beirut camps, "why should
we give up our struggle against the Israelis who cannot be as efficient
soldiers as the Americans?" That's the lesson the Algerians drew when they
saw France's mighty army reduced to surrender at Dien Bien Phu. The French,
like the Americans, had succeeded in murdering or "liquidating" many of the
Algerians who might have negotiated a ceasefire with them. The search for an
interlocuteur valable was one of de Gaulle's most difficult tasks when he
decided to leave Algeria. But what will the Americans do? Their
interlocuteur valable might have been the United Nations. But now the UN has
been struck off as a negotiator by the suicide bombing in Baghdad. And the
Bin Ladens and the adherents of the Wahabi sect are not interested in
negotiations of any kind. Mr Bush declared "war without end". And it looks
as though Iraqis - along with ourselves -- are going to be its principal
victims.

A hail of bullets, a trail of dead, and a mystery the US is in no hurry to
resolve
Robert Fisk in Fallujah
13 September 2003
http://news.independent.co.uk/world/fisk/

A human brain lay beside the highway. It was scattered in the sand, blasted
from its owner's head when the Americans ambushed their own Iraqi policemen.

A few inches away were a policeman's teeth, broken but clean dentures, the
teeth of a young man. "I don't know if they are the teeth of my brother - I
don't even know if my brother is alive or dead," Ahmed Mohamed shouted at
me. "The Americans took the dead and the wounded away - they won't tell us
anything."

Ahmed Mohamed was telling the truth. He is also, I should add, an Iraqi
policeman working for the Americans.

United States forces in Iraq officially stated - incredibly - that they had
"no information" about the killing of the 10 cops and the wounding of five
others early yesterday morning. Unfortunately, the Americans are not telling
the truth.

Soldiers of the 3rd Infantry Division fired thousands of bullets in the
ambush, hundreds of them smashing into the wall of a building in the
neighbouring Jordanian Hospital compound, setting several rooms on fire.

And if they really need "information", they have only to look at the 40mm
grenade cartridges scattered in the sand near the brains and teeth.

On each is printed the coding "AMM LOT MA-92A170-024". This is a US code for
grenades belt-fired from an American M-19 gun.

And out in Fallujah, where infuriated Iraqi civilians roamed the streets
after morning prayers looking for US patrols to stone, it wasn't difficult
to put the story together. The local American-trained and American-paid
police chief, Qahtan Adnan Hamad - who confirmed that 10 died - described
how, not long after midnight, gunmen in a BMW car had opened fire on the
mayor's office in Fallujah.

Two squads of the American-trained and American-paid police force - from the
local Fallujah constabulary established by US forces last month and the
newly constituted Iraqi national police - set off in pursuit.

Since the Americans will not reveal the truth, let Ahmed Mohamed, whose
28-year-old brother, Walid, was one of the policemen who gave chase, tell
his story.

"We have been told that the BMW opened fire on the mayor's office at
12.30am. The police chased them in two vehicles, a Nissan pick-up and a
Honda car and they set off down the old Kandar road towards Baghdad.

"But the Americans were there in the darkness, outside the Jordanian
Hospital, to ambush cars on the road. They let the BMW through, then fired
at the police cars."

One of the policemen who was wounded in the second vehicle said the
Americans suddenly appeared on the darkened road.

"When they shouted at us, we stopped immediately," he said. "We tried to
tell them we were police. They just kept on shooting."

The latter is true. I found thousands of brass cartridge cases at the scene,
piles of them like autumn leaves glimmering in the sun, along with the
dark-green grenade cartridges. There were several hundred unfired bullets
but - far more disturbing - was the evidence on the walls of a building at
the Jordanian Hospital. At least 150 rounds had hit the breeze-block wall
and two rooms had burnt out, the flames blackening the outside of the
building.

Therein lies another mystery that the Americans were in no hurry to resolve.
Several Iraqis said a Jordanian doctor in the hospital had been killed and
five nurses wounded. Yet when I approached the hospital gate, I was
confronted by three armed men who said they were Jordanian. To enter
hospitals here now, you must obtain permission from the occupation
authorities in Baghdad - which is rarely, if ever, forthcoming.

No one wants journalists prowling round dismal mortuaries in "liberated"
Iraq. Who knows what they might find?

"The doctors have gone to prayer so you cannot come in," an unsmiling
Jordanian gunman at the gate told me.

On the roof of the shattered hospital building, two armed and helmeted
guards watched us. They looked to me very like Jordanian troops. And their
hospital is opposite a US 3rd Infantry Division base. Are the Jordanians
here for the Americans? Or are the Americans guarding the Jordanian
Hospital? When I asked if the bodies of the dead policemen were here, the
armed man at the gate shrugged his shoulders.

So what happened? Did the Americans shoot down their Iraqi policemen under
the mistaken impression that they were "terrorists" - Saddamite or
al-Qa'ida, depending on their faith in President George Bush - and then,
once their bullets had smashed into the hospital, come under attack from the
Jordanian guards on the roof?

In any other land, the Americans would surely have acknowledged some of the
truth.

But all they would speak of yesterday were their own casualties. Two US
soldiers were killed and seven wounded in a raid in the neighbouring town of
Ramadi when the occupants of a house fired back at them.

It gave the impression, of course, that American lives were infinitely more
valuable than Iraqi lives.

And had the brains and teeth beside the road outside Fallujah been American
brains and teeth, of course, they would have been removed. There were other
things beside the highway yesterday.

A torn, blood-stained fragment of an American-supplied Iraqi policeman's
shirt, a primitive tourniquet and medical gauze and lots and lots of dried,
blackened blood. The 3rd Infantry Division are tired, so the story goes
here. They invaded Iraq in March and haven't been home since. Their morale
is low. Or so they say in Fallujah and Baghdad.

But already the cancer of rumour is beginning to turn this massacre into
something far more dangerous.

Here are the words of Ahmed, whose brother Sabah was a policeman caught in
the ambush and taken away by the Americans - alive or dead, he doesn't
know - and who turned up to examine the blood and cartridge cases yesterday.
"The Americans were forced to leave Fallujah after much fighting following
their killing of 16 demonstrators in April. They were forced to hire a
Fallujah police force. But they wanted to return to Fallujah so they
arranged the ambush. The BMW 'gunmen' were Americans who were supposed to
show there was no security in Fallujah - so the Americans could return. Our
police kept crying out: 'We are the police - we are the police'. And the
Americans went on shooting."

In vain did I try to explain that the last thing Americans wanted to do was
return to the Sunni Muslim Saddamite town of Fallujah. Already they have
paid "blood money" to the families of local, innocent Iraqis shot down at
their checkpoints.

They will have to do the same to the tribal leader whose two sons they also
killed at another checkpoint near Fallujah on Thursday night.

But why did the Americans kill so many of their own Iraqi policemen? Had
they not heard the radio appeals of the dying men? Why - and here the story
of the Jordanian Hospital guards and the policemen's relatives were the
same - did the Americans go on shooting for an hour and a half? And why did
the Americans say that they had "no information" about the slaughter 18
hours after they had gunned down 10 of the very men that President Bush
needs most if he wishes to extricate his army from the Iraqi death trap?

I (DIck Eastman) operate as a criminologist on the internet -- the term
conspiracy theoriest does not apply to me -- so if you came here looking for
conspiracy theory let me offer this, written by someone else:

In Remembrance of the September Dead!

It is foolish to think that an infinitesimal desert state and its partisans
in America could overthrow the sovereignty of the American government, take
control of the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches, and such
agencies as the Federal Reserve, IMF, CIA, and embark US on a global war
against the Arab world. It takes a vast and very rich Conspiracy and a
century. The Conspiracy was described exactly more than a century ago in
Europe and by President Wilson, long before this evil little state and its
partisans were born.

The world is under siege by a European hierarchy of banking families, at the
top largely Jewish, the money changers and money lenders of history. They
are already the richest people on earth but it is not enough. They have a
Faustian Grand Plan. They mean to own or control everything of value on
earth. Their weapons: MONEY and DEBT-and Washington.

The rise of the Conspiracy over the last two centuries parallels the rise of
zionism. This is not a coincidence. Early on, the Conspiracy realized that
it needed a strong political agency, zionism, and its own country where it
would be free from all governmental oversight and create the murderous rogue
state (israel) that menaces the world today through Washington. (The two
were joined at the hip decades ago by the Conspiracy.)

The Conspiracy is invisible. It functions through its network of global and
central banks and their many subsidized agents, organizations and fronts
around the world. It financed the Morgans and the Harrimans. Even the
haughty kingpin of the American Petroleum Cartel, David, is its lackey just
like his ancestors. It controls the currency of all the major nations
including Russia and China. It "takes" hundreds of billions from the
American people every year. It has no regard for human life except as a
resource for labor, taxes and armies. It has no god; money is its messiah.

A century ago, the Conspiracy had bankrupt Europe with its many wars (the
lifeblood of the Conspiracy). A peaceful America, protected by two oceans,
was on the verge of becoming the most powerful and prosperous nation on
earth and the Conspiracy did not "own" it. This was "unacceptable". A
naïve President Wilson was surrounded by zionists: Baruch, Untermeyer,
Warburg, Schiff, Brandeis, Meyer and House. The Conspiracy wished to take
control of American money, "mobilize its credit" to finance World War I and
overthrow the Czar (for Russian money). And it needed America to assure
victory over Germany (its hated enemy even before WWI). Wilson was
pressured into signing the Federal Reserve Act and to declare war on
Germany. Later he was to say, "I have involuntarily ruined my government".
Ominously, he warned,

"Some of the biggest men in the United States.are afraid of something. They
know there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so
interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above
their breath when they speak in condemnation of it." (And it has grown
enormously from a century of war.)

The Conspiracy mandated that Capitalism become the "state religion" of
America and the world (cheap resources and labor and freedom from taxes and
regulations). A Red Scare began the century long war on Communism. It was
as phony as the "war on terrorism" of today, all bugaboos and demagoguery.
Every politician had to pledge his/her allegiance to Capitalism. Communists
were purged from government, communications, education, industry; tens of
millions died for it in the Conspiracy wars. Today it's still the same:
"globalization", "deregulation" "privatization" and "tax exemption for the
rich".

The Conspiracy financed massive donations to two of the most prestigious
universities in America, turning them into centers of zionist politics and
activities. One has supplied an extraordinary number of officials to the
Washington government. The other created the ultimate terror weapon mostly
by Jewish/zionist scientists to use on Germany. It financed the
Jewish/zionist purchase of entire niche industries: merchandizing, movies,
real estate, television, national magazines and newspapers, jewelry, and now
professional sports from which they have amassed a vast wealth in the
trillions, sheltered from taxes in many foundations and offshore havens.
Cash businesses seem to be preferred.

After World War II, the Conspiracy corrupted American elections with money
and subverted Washington officials with threats of heavily financed
opponents. Truman said that zionist pressure for israel was the greatest
political pressure he had ever encountered. Anyone who resisted was
threatened with ruin or eliminated (JFK?). The Senate was purged of all but
zionist sycophants. In the 60's when Washington docilely surrendered to
israel's murder of American sailors on the USS Liberty the Conspiracy knew
it was in political control of America. But what about the American people?

In the 70's when the destruction of the Savings Banks and Savings & Loans
was planned, the Conspiracy recognized that it needed an epochal event like
the Reichstag Fire and/or Pearl Harbor to subdue the independent American
people. Washington and zionist media would orchestrate a mass hysteria.
They would bombard the American people, just as they had for decades with
anti-German and "holocaust" propaganda, with demagoguery, pathos, ethnic
hatred, patriotism, heroism, glorification, pageantry, flag-waving and
symbolism to create a false war climate and impose martial law under the
pretense of "national wartime security". FEMA concentration camps were
built and are ready.

It all came together in September 2001 just as planned by the Conspiracy.
The buildings were purchased by a Jewish syndicate and demolished. And it
is seeking the greatest insurance windfall in history. The American people
are shocked and all evidence and investigations quashed. But the pieces are
coming together anyway on the internet; Washington and media accusations are
a complete fraud. The buildings were assuredly not destroyed by aircraft.
The obvious suspects are the agents of the Conspiracy, israel and
Washington. There are reports that the Conspiracy timed this catastrophe to
destroy the personnel and accumulated evidence in a major investigation and
lawsuit involving a zionist gold cartel in Wall Street and the Federal
Reserve, selling the Reserve gold stock at bargain prices which would have
unveiled the Conspiracy. This was "unacceptable". The Conspiracy seeks to
corner the world's gold supply (its Rheingold). Washington has since
diverted all such investigations to "terrorism".

The Conspiracy has bankrupt America just like Europe. America is on the
brink of chaos: environmental disaster, global war, and economic, societal,
and financial collapse. America floats on the accelerating expansion of
debt by the Federal Reserve. But credit is not inexhaustible. Annual
interest on the debt is rapidly rising; approaching a half trillion dollars
or a quarter of national revenues. The dollar is under global attack in
favor of the Euro. The economic future of America is bleak yet rosy
economics pours out of Washington and the media, lulling the people. For
most of US, the cost of living rises and the standard of living declines;
there will be giant corporate bankruptcies, millions more unemployed,
healthcare, education, retirements trashed, all the more for the
Conpiracy's zionazi war machine (and its satanic weapons) and for israel.

In debt-ridden nations, the Conspiracy through the IMF will demand lower
wages and no social programs, higher taxes and interest rates and will
foreclose on vast expanses of the natural resources by its World
"Conservation" Bank for exploitation, freed from the sovereign control of
those countries and the interests and welfare of their people. Our children

America exists in a state of Constitutional chaos. There is no lawful
government in Washington. All three branches are in gross violation of the
Constitution. It is the most evil and criminal government in history. It
is a collection of Enron types, stuffing their pockets. These criminals
will gladly wage the Conspiracy's wars just to stay in power. Any force
with the means to do so may lawfully oust them and fill the vacancies.
.
We see a popinjay president surrounded, once again like Wilson, by zionists:
Wolfowitz, Perle, Feith, Kristol, Kagan, and Podhoretz as well as the
zionist fronts AIPAC and JINSA, all with a single mind. Washington,
shepherded by israel, shall "take" the Middle East resources and holocaust
its people and their religion. And the American people are its foil.
Americans can no longer be intimidated by accusations of anti-Semitism. It
is a ploy of the Conspiracy and its Zionist agents. Many, many religious
Jews in America are anti-zionist but are repudiated by zionists and
marginalized by the zionist media.

The fundamental right to vote is being attacked by numerous political
schemes. The Conspiracy controls both parties. (A common ploy of the
Conspiracy is to "own" both sides of a controversy and promote superficial
differences while both sides support a common hidden agenda.) The voting
machines are "fixed". The Republican majorities in Congress are more
suspect every day. So what's the cure? It's really simple.

Vast concentrated wealth is dangerous to any republic and must be
redistributed through a "Peace Tax" of fifty percent of all personal wealth,
income and property in excess of Five Million Dollars and the elimination of
all taxation of wages for any purpose.

All government obligations paid by money issued by the Treasury freed from
the Federal Reserve and the hundreds of billions in interest paid to the
Conspiracy annually.

Political reform including elections purged of private monies, term limits
for all public officials, and representative government for all minorities
according to their numbers.

The Conspiracy and its use of the American people to achieve their evil
Grand Plan would be ended. Within a few years the national debt would be
paid with peace and prosperity instead of endless wars, inflation and
depressions. This is always what has occurred when the people issued their
own money instead of the Conspiracy. But the Conspiracy controls both of
the major parties; so the Cure is simply not possible without a coup by real
American patriots. We should remember the words of Jefferson:

If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of
their currency.the banks and the corporations which grow up around them will
deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on
the continent their fathers conquered.

How soon the labor of men would make a paradise of the earth were it not for
misgovernment and a diversion of his energies to selfish interests.

Open scientific research in controlling hurricanes ended in the 1950's after
successful efforts demonstrating the technology's feasibility. Since then
the research has been militarized and continued in secret -- along with
other weather modification technologies.

Slight energies applied at the right time and at the right moment can modify
spin and direction of these huge systems.

I suspect, the timing and the "perfectness" and the course of hurricane

Pete Wagner:
Isabel is a Cat. 5 storm on a slow and steady course for warmer Gulf Stream
waters. I cannot remember in my lifetime a hurricane this well-structured,
headed on such a ominous course toward the American Eastern Seaboard. This
may well turn out to be the storm of the new century, at least decade. It
could easily wipe out entire shoreside communities, from the Carolinas up to
the Jersey Shore. My projections have the storm sweeping along Cape Hatteras
and running up the coast. I think there is a chance that Hatteras could
experience 200+ mph winds and 40 foot storm surges. The whole outer banks
could realistically end up under water. ... there is still about a week left
to see what will actually happen.

You're forgetting about the only War that matters in the entire
issue. WWII turned your sons into born-again religious zombies.
