Hi,

One issue that exists with Iran, is that if a military solution is
chosen, this will extend US forces way to thin.
As the head of the joint chiefs of staff stated "Government
Executive," that we need to pick our engagements
carefully as we have many deployments currently.

Same old-same-o. Old scores with Iran that both the U.S. and the various Gulf States have
will be settled at some point in the near future. Ours just go back to 4 Nov 1979, but the
Gulf States have disagreements (political as well as religious) dating back centuries. It's just
that the Tehran International Air and Missile Show has a TBD opening date....
