Reflection of First Debate of 2012
Why We Need to Avoid the US of 2016 Ann Rand's Atlas Shrugged (lose
airline seart the start)
The Key Facts of the Private Sector
1. Reflection of the First Debate by Diana Kanecki
The first debate did not meet my expectations of
both candidates. However, Romney did show how the President was not
facing his CEO duties and responsibilities. For example, in the
private sector, a CEO is not allowed to continually blame the previous
CEO for missed goals and objectives; like the movie "Apollo 13," we
work the problem in shirt sleece condition with the same reaources
available to those in trouble. If the US was Apollo 13 and the current
president and other candidate were the problem solving group, the
people inside Apollo 13 would have died, instead of coming home alive.
On the discussion of strategic planning and
leadership, I was surprised at President Obama's lack of understanding
of the economic term of elasticity to growth. The term od elasticity
is known by many private sector businesses. What is surprising is that
someone who taught at the University of Chicago, noted for its'
economic leadership, that the fumbling by the prwsidebt exists. To be
fair, Mr. Romney showed the same level of fumbling in discussion of
growth using economic elasticity. Both actors, rehearsed a script,
poorly, but, what is required is a chief executive from tbe private
sector.
I identify as a republucan who believes in a social safety
net. The identifification comes from the reakization that abusive
taxation, bread and circusses, and the human face with central
planning of leftist does not work. Like Mr. Romney and contrary to
some in Obama's camp, I came from a business family. However, my
mother's company, founded by my grandfather Jesse Scultz, of Reine,
Schultz, and Dahl built interstate highways; the businrss values that
made the company of treating those who work for you fairly and helping
hand, offering a job to soneone on the spot, waking up early, putting
out the lettings, and being on the work site by camper orike my dad,
an executive who kept steel toe shoes, safety glasses, and jump suit
in his office to go down to shop floor to coach and help.
In regard to leadership, both are poor. Leadership is
like a gear shift on a car of five levels The best level is
democratic; however, it is important to know when to move to
autocratic and coaching, avoiding laissez fair, as needed. I felt it
was like watching the movie "Atlas Shrugged," we can do better, and
Mr. Obama andMt. Romney, you can do better and need to.
Strategic planning is based upon mission, vision, and
values. I did not see any. Please, realize that people can't live on
ghetto putdowns of both of you; people require the quality of life
lost since 2009 January for singles and families to grow. Both showed
why most people do not look to D.C.; instead, they realize change
occurs by the people.
Why We Need to Avoid the 2016 US of Ann Rand, lose airline seats the
atart
In 2009, a certain caucus gained great political piwer and use
it fully. The art of management is the restrain of power, and the use
of working togethet. In the fictional US of 2016, caucus groups, new
local Soviets in the US, control each aspect of what was once rhe
private sector. Each local Soviet exercised its' power and planes
crashed, the interstate highway syatem failed, and the only
transpirtation was by train. Do you real,y wish to see this? If both
candidates as the current President and Mr. Romney continue lime last
night, this could happen.
Leadership and meeting expectations is required no matter what
party or caucus. If a chief executive can't meey expectation and
targets, he/she should be fired immediately. Mr. Obama and Mr Romney,
the shareho, ders of US vote in November, are you listening. Remembet,
you work for the peopke, shareho, ders, of the United States, not the
other way around.
The Key Facts of the Private Sector
In January 2009, the private sector became a bad area in the
new local, US, Soviet of a new administration, Although, the local
soviet did their best to try to destroy business, I congratulate Ford
Motor Company for so,ving it the Ametican Way. To show my support, I
bought stock in For in 2009. The private sector is good and by the
people. All new increased benefits of quality of life come the people
not the local Soviets, transplanted in the US.
We will grow when we work together and remember an old civics
lesson the revo, utionary ezr, we either hand together or hand
seperately
