Hello,

Have had Cataract Surgery about a year and a half ago.

Seems like I may now need that YAG Laser treatment for Secondary Cataracts.

I understand that it is very quick and painless, and much less of a
procedure than the original, actual surgery, procedure. True ?

Is this something I may need to re-do every few years, or once, after
the initial surgery, "usually" does it ?

Main question: Should I be able to car drive myself home afterwards ?

Thanks,
Bob

Hi Bob,

Subject: Secondary "film" that can develop after the first cataract
surgery.

In about 30 percent of cases (estimated) this does happen. For me, is
was a light "film" on images that was annoying. Just talk to the
person who did the first operation - he will explain it to you.

It is a relatively "easy" fix, but just takes your time to do it.
Each person is different - so always check with your surgeon.
