I only go back once to an old thread, but I do want to add something I found out this week. On Thursday, I went in for my yearly mammogram. It seems the clerk made my appointment for one day too early. The technician told me that starting in 2009 Medicare will not pay for a mammogram unless it's a year and a day after a previous one.... more »

Hi, Doc. dictated in body of letter pt. had borderline diabetes. Then, in the impression, pt has diabetes mellitus. Can these two be interchangeable? I'm thinking not, but not a typist of a lot of endocrine/int. med. Thanks, Carol V.
