There is a movement in some religious persuasions that tells its congregants
it is okay to get rich and God will bless you. He blesses us whether we are
rich or poor, and those who want what they want rather than what they need,
will find themselves in a pickle regardless. The Bible tells us to be good
stewards of our money. If someone from the pulpit is teaching differently,
then the congregant needs to find a church that is more solidly based on
Biblical principles. If he or she doesn't, then greed has set in and it
won't matter who says what to whom.
