Cat pictures

My first thought is to buy a digital camera for about $700, but the
divorce on top of that adds greatly to the cost. The next thought is to
get one of those "computer cameras," but they all seem to require
Windows 95 or 98, and my work computer is only equipped with 3.1. (It
works and I don't want to mess with it.) The third and probably what I
will do is use my present 35-mm camera, buy a scanner, and scan them
in. I found a scanner at Damark for $49. Hoping to find even a cheaper
one.
The next thing is to get the cat to pose for me. Do cats go all
berzerko when a flash hits them. If so, I guess I can get some fast
flim, uh film. Come to think of it, it may not be a real good idea to
hit them with the flash....
(He was soooooo cute yesterday, lying on top of my reference books with
one front leg and one back leg hanging down - would've made a great pic
if I had had any flim in the camera.)
He's all ticked off this morning cuz he wants to be outside watching the
workers doing our latest remuddling project. He comes in here, stands
and looks at me for a minute, then goes back to the front door. He's
repeated this the entire time I'm typing this.
BTW, this is a semi-serious post, as I really do want to send some pics
of the cat, where I'm not real sure, but I guess the next thing I need
to learn is how to put them in a post, as I've seen other folks do.

to have the photos put on a disc (think you can also have them put on CD).
Perhaps one of your local stores carry this option.........

Most places that develop film now offer the option to have your
pictures put on floppy or CD instead of or in addition to getting the
regular prints. I don't think it's terribly expensive. Otherwise you
can always get a scanner, as you mentioned, and scan them in.
My cats aren't very helpful when it comes to posing and even worse
when I use a flash. Using fast film and a steady hand and keeping
your camera nearby at all times for those fleeting hilarious or cute
candid moments is your best bet.

mentioned, there is now the option of also putting snapshots on a disk. I've
done this twice now and sent pictures of my cats and possum to many friends
with the greatest of ease. No new equipment to buy, so easy that even a techno
dummy like me can do it.
As far as getting your cat to pose for you. GOOD LUCK. Usually when I aim a
camera at one of my cats, he will sit down, up goes one of the hind legs, and
bath time of the nether region commences.
When you get some pictures, you can test sending them on me via email. I love
getting pictures of pets. Oh yah, pictures of people are okay, too.

Oh, Neal, you are soooo funny. Just like a new daddy. Judity took pictures of
her cats and possum and had them put on disk when they were developed.
I have never had any trouble scaring them with flash. Thing is, trying to get
the picture before they quit looking like they do (in comfy position) or doing
what they are doing. Like hubby snapped one of cat standing up on hind feet
peering into the fish tank.
