Crazy, but I still get a thrill to see one of my books on Amazon

Maybe you have friends or family who have Kindles and might like to
read a "slightly" erotic mythological novel. They actually can look
inside this e-book to see if it's something they like. Great Amazon
feature, by the way.

Today I'll work on my first novel, Home of the Red Fox, to get it
ready as a Kindle book. This gives me a chance to fix some format
errors I found on the Smashwords version.

Judity,

I signed up for Amazon Prime recently and I see I can read it for free.
However, I've already read it. Are any of your other titles on Amazon?

Not yet, Bob. Have you already read the trilogy that began with "Home
of the Red Fox"?

In the next couple weeks I'll be once again proofreading my three
"Home" e-books and correcting any typos or format errors. Then I'll
add them one at a time to Amazon.com. My Neil Diamond albums are at
the ready for me to hear while I do this.

Yesterday I removed "Seraglio of the Gods" from the Smashwords site
so it could go into the Kindle free library. The rule is I can't
offer it for sale anywhere else for 90 days, and I think that's fair.
It would be nice if people wanted to buy my e-books, but I really just
want them to read them. SOTG might not be to everyone's taste,
though, which is why I want them to also *meet* Walker and Samantha in
the other e-books later on.

Amazon Prime is a great addition to their web site. I joined last
month and already have watched quite a few of their free movies
through my Roku unit.

Judity,

I enjoyed SOTG.

I have not read your trilogy, but hope to have time after I finish some
other stuff for work.

Thank you, Bob, for letting me know you enjoyed SOTG. Sometimes I
wonder if readers, other than Writing.com members where the novels
began, like or even read my stories.

I hope to submit the first of the trilogy, "Home of the Red Fox," to
the Kindle store later this week. If you are an Amazon Prime member,
you can read it for free or just get a free sample to see if you like
where the story is going. Since I'm not writing to make money, but
just to share my imagination with others, this seems a great way to
promote my e-books. Don't you think so?

I'll try to look for it this weekend or whenever you post a link:-)

I think it's wonderful that you are making them available for Amazon Prime
customers.

Judity, I assume you get paid if I buy the book, right?

Yes, Sandi, I get a small royalty on each sale that goes directly to
Petsmart for my feline mobs' food or toys. In other words, buy one of
my e-books; feed some lazy cats. (laughing)

Right now I'm at chapter 56 of "Home of the Red Fox." There are only
another 54 to edit again before I send the file to the Amazon Kindle
store. Then I start the editing phase on the second in the trilogy,
"Home of the Gray Dog."

Have I ever mentioned I strongly dislike editing?

I just wanted to make sure because I'm eligible to read it for free,
but I will buy it so the cats will be well fed. :)

Sandi, my cats will thank you. (grinning)

I did get an email from Amazon Kindle asking me to verify I was the
author of "Home of the Red Fox," something they didn't send for
"Seraglio of the Gods." Perhaps Amazon is covering all bases due to
the recently submitted SOPA legislation. Because of this, HOTRF is
still in a review status, but I hope to see it for sale this coming
week.

Yesterday I finished preparing the second novel in the trilogy, "Home
of the Gray Dog," and will send it to Amazon once the first novel is
out of review status. Today I'm starting to prepare the third and
last novel in this trilogy, "Home of the White Dolphin." It is R
rated or even a wee bit X in places, so there definitely will be a
disclaimer that it's not for the weak of heart or prudish. In this
prequel, I do go into explicit detail about what turned the 19th
century Jason Edgeworth into the sadistic monster mentioned in the
first two books.
