I visited Dr Bahn in Detroit for 3 injections in February and March 2002. I
would recommend this treatment for any long term sufferer.

I had about 3 months of relief. I'm still doing better than before I visited
him, but the perineal pain is back.

I reported on these visits on this forum at the time. If you search back a few
months you can find these posts.

This is the only relief I have found after 11 yrs of intense pain and total
disability. I said at the time I don't know if it's a cure or a treatment; for
me it's a treatment. Who knows, for someone else it may be a cure.

I'm probably in worse shape than most of you. Dr. Bahn has said I'm the worst
case he has ever seen. I'd love to continue with these treatments, but Dr Bahn
moved to California.

If anyone knows of anyone doing these treatments on the east coast, please let
me know. If you're in Cal. I recommend you try this treatment.

Thanks for the post keep us updated.

The fact that you had relief for three months may be due to the fact that
steroids where injected into your prostate.

Dr. JD who posts here is anti injection (from what I can tell) but pro steroid
therapy - (hate to put words in his mouth)

Maybe the solution is to get the injection and then continue with oral
steroids.

Very little is published on injection treatment much of it is negitive.
However, the few doctors that preform it seem to be moving forward, so much so
that our resident doctor basher has been forced to pull back (like the nice
little pit bull puppy he is).

I keep meaning to write a letter to Dr. Bahn and ask him if he has heard on any
progress that the Korean's are making with their time released pellets of
Floxin/Levaquin.

I posted this information sometime ago, they implanted these time released
pellets into dogs -
