In order to educate us, Bolen would have to know more than we do. He
abysmally ignorant about even minor things (he insists we not call Dr.
Barrett a "doctor" because he doesn't have license to practise

dishonest (he knows full well that Barrett surrendered his license when
he retired, as many doctors do, and did not do it under duress, or was
ever in legal trouble for practising medicine. But Bolen will leave you
with the implication, which is what any dishonest argument will do).
Actually, here's the real problem: Tim Bolen is Hulda Clark's chief
publicist. And Hulda Clark practically *defines* quackery. She's the
lady who has the electric zapper she claims can literally cure all
diseases, which she says are due to toxins and parasites, both of which
succumb to the electrical magic of her simple low voltage
frequency-generator.
When I asked Bolen to give an example of ACTUAL "health fraud," by a
non-medical doctor, he could not do so. Or he will not. Naming an
actual case of health fraud perpetrated by anybody who does not have an
M.D. and a license to practice medicine, would put Mr. Bolen in the
situation where he'd have to admit that something needs to be done
about such people, and would leave him needing a mechanism with which
to do it. And that all opens such a can of worms, that his mind cannot
even go there.
But to repeat, and put it bluntly, if Bolen cannot recognize Hulda
Clark as a health fraud, he cannot recognize health fraud at all, no
matter how bad it is. Same (apparently) goes for Gohde.

Precisely, and besides most states (all?) require doctors to provide proof
of a minimum number of hours of continuing education each time they renew
their license. If a doctor is retired and does not intend to continue his
practice, the continuing ed. courses and seminars are not useful to him, and
not worth his time. They cost money as well, usually several hundred dollars
each. Thus, keeping a license active costs a lot of money, and steals
several weekends each year that a retiree would rather spend doing something
else. As the Pennsylvania state website shows, Dr. Barrett's license is in
inactive status, and has had no disciplinary action against it, which means
that if he so chooses, he may reactivate it at any time by getting the
required cont. ed. and paying the license fee.

It's not a leading cause of death in the USA. The studies which report
that, are flawed in obvious ways which we've flogged to death ad
nauseam. They lack control groups. The deaths they label "iatrogenic"
are deaths of ill people in hospitals, in cases where it's questionable
whether these people would have survived whether the medical mistake
had been made, or not.
To put it another way, it's pretty certain that president George
Washington's doctors killed him. But most cases of putative "iatrogenic
