A recent CBC indicated an RBC of 4.6 with MCV of 94.4. In addition, the
total iron binding cap showed 473. Even though these numbers are only
slightly off, I'd like to hear some suggestions as to cause and possible
remedies. I've eliminated iron-deficient anemia since iron count is well
within the range of 112. The lab report also indicated positive for Hep. B
surface antibody and Hep. C antibody. However, the total bilirubin is 0.60
with alkaline phosphatase 49 and lactic dehydrogenase 170 so liver fuction
appears to be normal. Thanks in advance for your responses.
