Subject: "Where's the well-regulated militia?"

Date: Jul 8, 2010 8:40 AM

Coward-Morons didn't know they were supposed to
have a civil rebellion to overthrow Bushie and
the Israelis who couped us in 2000.

It's similar to the MD-tards in America
who drink the Kool-Aid instead of having
someone explain the US Taxonomy data base
to them.

Bottom Line? American males are too
cowardly and stupid to be the owners
of the land. (We 15 or so normal people
left in America were aksing this "Where's
the Militia?" question back in 2003.)

The ongoing controversy regarding the rights of individuals to carry
registered firearms has heated up with a recent ruling from the U.S.
Supreme Court extending, in effect, these rights. I have to wonder,
first, if anybody bothered to actually read the Second Amendment to
the U.S. Constitution. It says: "A well regulated Militia, being
necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to
keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

I then wonder why the rights of gun owners and carriers should be
guaranteed when their activity has nothing to do with a well-regulated
militia. Am I missing some fine point here?

Has the Second Amendment itself been amended by the judicial branch of
the government?

Perhaps an advocate for gun ownership and for the right to carry, or
someone with a legal background, can explain and clarify this for me.

Can you comprehend what you read? The 2nd amendment is clear.
1) States can have regulated militias...then the comma signaling
a separate thought,
2) The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

You'll argue that the comma is a pause....and that the framers
never intended for the citizens to own weapons unless they
were in a militia..
"Use a comma to separate independent clauses in a compound sentence when
they are separated by a conjunction.
The comma goes after the first clause and before the coordinating
conjunction that separates the clauses.
Make sure they are independent clauses and not some other construction where
commas are not required."
http://englishplus.com/grammar/00000069.htm

There is no coordinating conjunction in the second amendment...
thus, the writer is stating 2 separate thoughts in one sentence.

Now, to paraphrase Penn and Teller "...funny how they can't find
any other place in the Constitution where the hack framers
f#cked up..."

Yup.

Is a "well-regulated militia" like a "well-tempered clavier"? ;-)

Everyone should know the DCF WHORES
interfered with medical treatment for
children, which is their job.

They called me a terrorist, when the terrorists
were Yale. There was no rebellion because
men like you are fags.

Girls.

You ought to join the <ptui!> Rev. Fred Phelps Westboro <ptui!> Baptist
Church. If you don't mind having your ass beaten black and blue with an
axe handle, that is.
