Warning, Dangerous Psycho Crap as a Treatment for
a Real Medical Problem (Lyme Immunosuppression and
Activation of Latent Infections of all kinds (below).
Avoid this crazy meditation crap, because such introversion
drives people insane. It happened to my sister who has Chronic
Fatigue Syndrome:
http://www.actionlyme.org/Hilarious.htm
She was ALREADY super-self-obsessed and self-possessed
before she got involved in this "deep-breathing" crap (which was
probably why she was prone to falling into this psycho crap), and
then, once heavily involved in it, lost all insight into an
individual's
obligation to helping humanity.
It happens to all of them.
It warps their brains.
This meditation crap is very dangerous.

The best treatment for illness is it acknowledge the
illness. In a normal person, this will alleviate some of
the symptoms. The worst thing you can do about illness
is to involved these wacko therapists, because they can't
do common sense or logic. They have some wacko idea
that humans aren't subservient to the facts or science, or
like the neocons, they somehow have the power to create
their own reality.
If a person had success with meditation (self-worship)
what would be the source of the magic?
Think.
There is a story in "Hostage to the Devil" about a psychologist
who got so deeply involved in meditation that he believed he
was able to bilocate. He was not bilocating....

You have to get the book to know the outcome.
It was the same as this character's:

"He had been visited all night by his long-dead master..."
DON'T MESS WITH IT!!
THESE PEOPLE ARE NUTS!!

Kingston, NY (1888PressRelease) September 09, 2009 - Holistic Health
Expert Patricia Gerbarg MD and Stephen Larsen PhD Discuss Integrative
Treatments for Lyme Disease September 12, 2009 at Stone Mountain
Counseling Center in New Platz, New York
Patricia L. Gerbarg, MD, internationally renowned integrative mental
health expert and pioneer of CAM (Complementary and Alternative
Medicine), and Stephen Larsen PhD, highly respected author, teacher
and practitioner of neurofeedback, will discuss treatments to relieve
post-Lyme disease symptoms at a Stone Mountain Counseling Center Open
House on Saturday, September 12, 2009, from 2 to 5 pm, in New Paltz,
New York. The event is intended for those with Lyme Disease, their
families and friends, as well as health practitioners. The lecture and
Q & A is open to the public. Admission is free.
Following antibiotic treatment, many people are left with post-Lyme
symptoms that include fatigue, fibromyalgia, weakness, cognitive
deficits, memory loss, and other neurological challenges.
Dr. Gerbarg will discuss how to promote optimal wellness for those
suffering from the long-term effects of Lyme by improving brain cell
functions, mitochondrial energy production, and cellular repair
mechanisms. She will include treatments from the highly-praised new
book she co-authored with Drs. Richard P. Brown and Dr. Philip Muskin,
How to Use Herbs, Nutrients, and Yoga in Mental Health Care (WW
Norton, 2009).
Dr. Larsen will present the use of LENS (Low Energy Neurofeedback
System) for the treatment of Lyme. His best-selling book The Healing
Power of Neurofeeback: The Revolutionary LENS Technique for Restoring
Optimal Brain Function (Healing Arts Press, 2006) includes Lyme
disease case studies.
According to statistics, over 20,000 cases of Lyme disease are
reported in the U.S. every year, and early detection and treatment is
critical.
Dr. Gerbarg is a clinically trained psychiatrist and Assistant
Professor in Clinical Psychiatry at New York Medical College. She
graduated from Harvard Medical School and the Boston Psychoanalytic
Society and Institute. In addition to her clinical practice in
Kingston, NY, she provides consultation and facilitates the
development of research projects on the health benefits of mind-body
practices for recovery from mass disasters such at the September 11th
World Trade Center attacks, the southeast Asian tsunami, and military
personnel. She and her co-author husband, psychiatrist Richard P.
Brown, MD, maintain a web site providing health information and
resources at HaveAHealthyMind.com.
In addition to The Healing Power of Neurofeedback, Stephen Larsen PhD,
LMHC BCIA-eeg, LENS certified, and Hearth Math certified, is the
author of the award-winning The Fundamentalist Mind: How Polarized
Thinking Imperils Us All. Dr. Larsen also wrote The Shaman’s Doorway,
the Mythic Imagination. With his wife Robin he co-authored, A Fire in
the Mind: The Life of Joseph Campbell. Larsen was a Joseph Campbell
friend and protégé. Dr. Larsen is the Director of Stone Mountain
Counseling Center. More information on Dr. Larsen is available at
stonemountaincenter.com.
For more information on Lyme disease see LymeNet.org, ilads.org, or
the LymeDiseaseAssociation.org. A documentary film, Under Our Skin,
from Open Eyes Pictures, produced in 2008, reports on “this emerging
epidemic of staggering proportions.”
