Dear Atty O'Connor,
I would like to include Kaiser Permanente officially to this Lyme
Disease/Antitrust complaint, as well as John G. Rowland, Governor of
CT. Mr. Rowland owns an insurance company, as you can see.
For this report, due to limited time, I will simply outline the
documents I have included, and give you this overview.
As you know, John Connolly was the President of New York Medical
College in 1990, and following the publication of the Infectious
Disease Reviews Supplement, 1989, which you have, and certain other
specific publications, by Alan Barbour, of the NIH Rocky Mountain
Labs, Andrew Pachner of Georgetown and Yale University, Lyme disease
suddenly became "Controversial".
Allen Steere published an article called the "Overdiagnosis (sic) of
Lyme Disease", in 1993, which was the same year he went to Germany to
create this imaginary Standard, the Dressler/Steere, Standard, which
was adopted by the CDC (this served the false-positive outcomes of
Yale's and Alan Barbour's recombinant OspA "vaccines"). Steere and
Barbour were former CDC Epidemiology Intelligence Officers.
John Connolly, CastleConnolly.com, the American Lyme Disease
Foundation, Yale University (Steere, Sigal Shapiro, Schoen Fikrig,
Flavell and L2 Diagnostics), , Kaiser-Permanente, Imugen, Corixa and
the Mayo Clinic (Persing), Robert Wood Johnson (Sigal), Tufts' and
now Boston University's Mark Klempner, Glaxo SmithKline, and Aventis
(Pasteur-Connaught), are the Principal Defendants.
I am adding John Rowland because of his clear knowledge of our
enormous problems with the disability of Lyme disease, and especially,
the disabilities in children, such as cognitive and neurologic.
The statistic is that CT has the highest Attention Deficit Disorder
rate in the country.

"Unfortunately it's becoming more and more of a problem," said Karen
M. Andersson, PhD, director of mental health for the Department of
Children and Families. "More and more younger children are
experiencing behavior difficulties that are so extreme they're not
able to function in the preschool environment and home."
New London, CT, USA, not ten miles from Lyme, CT, where Lyme disease
was discovered and so-named, 28 years ago Daily Newspaper....
duhDCF HeRoEs, to the rescue. This child and his mother were both
sick, the mother had "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome", lived in East LYME.
The boy had severe headaches and "gets a glazed look...", and has
Intermittent Explosive Disorder, (see Fallon) but this is what
happened, the DCF's abuse and trauma, to this poor family...

Few options are available for mentally ill kids

East Lyme-- Carolyn Duraski is terrifed when her six-year old son
Zachary goes into what she calls "one of his rages." …
…….. Duraski is relieved, but she now must contend with DCF's charge
of neglect for refusing to take her son home from the hospital and
will have to fight a legal battle in order for him to return home.
"Theyre acting like I'm an unfit parent because I was trying to
help my son," she said.
I am including my correspondence with John G. Rowland in 1997, as
well as newspaper articles of our protests outside Yale University,
the Ticked Off Rallies. As you can see from the picture, my friend
Judi Karol and I attended the Rally in May, 1997. My correspondence
with Rowland followed that protest.
Rowland is well-aware of the problems we have with Lyme disease,
Instead Rowland Supported Yale's vaccine, which we got off the market,
because of it's clear and abundant harmà 4/13 miscarriages, 8.7% new
cases of breast cancer in females and a Lyme like illness.
LymeRIX was never a vaccine, and this induction of immune incompetence
via the type of vaccine it is, was repeated in two other vaccine
attempts, recombinant lipoproteins, for tuberculosis.

Also, I reported Robert Schoen, Yale Rheumatology for Medical
Negligence for failing to treat me when I was pregnant, and had
congenitally infected my first two children, and the State Medical
Licensing Board had no problem with that. It was OKAY with Rowland's
administration, that Schoen allow my fetus to possibly die, as had two
others, and it was OKAY, with Rowland's Administration, that Schoen
send my records to a physician I had never even heard of, Terrance
Doherty, and who Schoen clearly did not have my authorization to
correspond with, and it was OKAY with Rowland's Administration, that
Schoen lose my blood test results, and especially, it was OKAY with
Rowland's Administration, that Schoen give me my blood test results
before they were even performed, which was, that they would be
negative, when myself and my daughters were positive. My oldest
child was 25 months, and she had 7 CDC bands, and these were different
bands from mine, taken one month earlier. (We lost a weekend due to my
Violent and in other wasys severely abusive husband, Don Dickson,
being arrested by the Montville Police for Domestic Violence). My 25
month old daughter's 7 positive bands were different from my own,
meaning that was her own, congenital infection (The concept behind
needing yearly booster shots of LymeRIXà Antibody concentrations
fade.)
Rowland owns an insurance company. Kaiser certainly knows all about
Lyme and Neuroborreliosis, (the former there is a test for, and the
latter is misdiagnosed as Munchausen's, hypochondria, etc) John
Connolly and CastleConnolly.com publish an internal, inter-industry
newsletter. And as you can see from Weinstein's interview, he spells
out the RICO structure
Please investigate also John G. Rowland's extensive corrupt
administration. He knows Lyme disease is the epidemic that it is.
Clearly he would allow this abuse to go unchecked for the following
reasons:

Admits Conspiring To Accept Payoffs, Agrees To Cooperate In Corruption

A former top Rowland administration official
admitted Monday that he took gold and cash in return for steering
multimillion-dollar state contracts, and has agreed to cooperate with
federal prosecutors in a widening investigation of corruption at the
top levels of state government.
Lawrence E. Alibozek, Gov. John G. Rowland's former deputy chief of
staff, pleaded guilty in federal court Monday to conspiring to accept
corrupt payments and hiding them from the IRS.
Informed sources said Alibozek already has provided
information to federal investigators that caused the FBI to begin
investigating former Rowland chief of staff Peter N. Ellef and a
senior official of the Tomasso Group, a politically connected
construction company based in New Britain.
The sources said Monday that federal officials are
particularly interested in the circumstances under which Tomasso was
hired as construction manager for the $53 million Connecticut Juvenile
Training School in Middletown.
The school opened in July 2001 as the centerpiece of the
state's juvenile justice system. The state Department of Children and
Families developed the school to replace the outdated Long Lane School
for juveniles in Middletown.
Alibozek pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Robert
N. Chatigny in Hartford. He was Rowland's deputy chief of staff from
October 1997 to July 1999. Before that, from August 1996 to October
1997, he was deputy commissioner of the Connecticut Department of
Economic and Community Development.
"He considers himself to be a moral person and this is a
lapse he can't forgive himself for," William Gerace, Alibozek's
lawyer, said Monday night. "He's devastated and wants the community to
know that, the majority of the time, he was a dedicated public
servant. He's hoping that the judge will be lenient and he's glad that
probation is a theoretical possibility. He's doing everything he can
to minimize his sentence."
Ellef, described by various sources as a subject of the
investigation, was co-chief of Rowland's staff from 1997 until last
spring, when he left amid a furor over the state trash authority's
loss of $220 million in a deal with Enron Corp. Ellef was chairman of
the CRRA, the state trash authority, while serving as Rowland's top
aide. Federal officials are also investigating the Enron deal.
The Tomasso officer described by informed sources as
another subject in the investigation is William Tomasso. The sources
said Tomasso and Ellef are friends who have traveled together in the
past.
Hugh Keefe, Ellef's lawyer, said Monday night that he
is not aware of any evidence implicating his client in wrongdoing.
"I have heard absolutely nothing, after having spoken
with Mr. Gerace and with the federal authorities," Keefe said.
Tomasso and his Washington, D.C.-based lawyer could
not be reached to discuss the case.
The sources said they are not aware of any information linking
Rowland to misconduct.
Two senior Rowland aides said late Monday that the governor's office
received two federal grand jury subpoenas, in November and December,
seeking information related to Alibozek and Ellef.
In addition, the aides, who spoke on the condition they not be
identified, said the governor's office gave federal investigators
information related to the Tomasso Group, and affiliated business
entities, including Tomasso Brothers Inc., TBI Construction Co.,
Tunxis Management Co., Tunxis Plantation Country Club in Farmington
and Tenergy Water LLC.
The aides said that federal investigators were particularly
interested in three major state projects. In addition to the juvenile
training school in Middletown, those projects are a new parking garage
at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks and the Superior
Court and Center for Juvenile Matters in Bridgeport. Bridgeport Mayor
Joseph P. Ganim is currently on trial, accused of splitting $100,000
in kickbacks in connection with the Bridgeport project.
The initial $27.5 million in bonding for the school for boys in
Middletown was approved in 1999 and awarded on what was described as
an emergency, no-bid basis.
The Rowland administration rushed to build the new facility after
15-year-old Tabatha Ann Brendle of New Britain committed suicide at
Long Lane in September 1998. Hers was the first suicide at Long Lane
in the school's 125-year history, and her death became a rallying
point for finally shutting Long Lane down after years of criticism
that it was too old and unsafe.
A source involved in the case said that the payments - which Alibozek
has described and which are under investigation - involved "hundreds
of thousands of dollars" in checks, cash and American Eagle gold
bullion coins.
Federal prosecutors filed a document in court Monday that
described their investigation in only the most general terms. The
document, which formed the basis of Alibozek's guilty plea, does not
name any other conspirators.
Rather, it accuses Alibozek of conspiring with unnamed
others to accept illegal payments from a contractor in return for
steering contracts that fell under the jurisdiction of the state
Department of Public Works and the state Department of Children and
Families.
The document describes that contractor as "Entity A."
Federal prosecutors allege in the document that Alibozek
and unnamed others collected kickbacks through a state-registered,
Limited Liability corporation called TREA, LLC.
According to a person familiar with the allegations,
Ellef is a silent partner in TREA, a landscaping company investigators
suspect was set up to take payments - checks - in exchange for
steering contracts to Tomasso.
TREA was incorporated in July 1999 and dissolved five
months later.
But, as the investigation continues, the source said,
payments in exchange for granting Tomasso contracts allegedly predated
the TREA arrangement, and continued afterward with payments to another
landscaping company, this one set up by Ellef's son and wife, LF
Design LLC, of New Britain.
Sources said the initials in TREA stand for the last names
of Tomasso, Ellef and Alibozek. They said the R doesn't represent

I can guarantee John G. Rowland knows about how serious Lyme disease,
and that he knows it is a permanent infection of the brain. He owns
an insurance company. Please note the highlighted reports. You
already know about the BOGUS testing for Lyme. It looks to me like
the State is very aware of an epidemic of SOMETHING, such as we have
all these problems, especially Mental Health Problems, in children,
and I don't need to say, that Lyme is in CT.
It is my experience, that the Department of Children and Families
can't be reasoned with, as I have given them an enormous amount of
information about the specific, reported scientific journal articles
and abstracts regarding the pathophysiologies of Central and
Peripheral Nervous System Lyme disease, and the published Clinical
Manifestations. The DCF perceived those articles, and publications as
"harassment" and "bizarre talking", speaking to their worthiness of
the "care" of CT's Children and Families.

Federal Criminal Statute designed to bust-up the influence of
organized crime. The mob. The "outfit". The "blackhand", the Cosa
Nostra. Are you saying the CDC is being run by the mob? How about NIH?

There is, however, a private right of action for individuals to pursue
who have been injured by the penetration of these corrupt influences
in American life and enterprise.
But we are talking mail fraud, wire fraud...CRIMINAL FRAUD. I feel
safe in saying that most lawyers who are familiar with the civil
action provisions of RICO would tell you to forget it. There have only
been a handful of prosecutions under this provision. A lawyer who has
gotten down to threatening a civil RICO action has got next to nothing
and is likely to provoke laughter from his adversary. If not the
Court.
A "complaint" is a term of legal art. It is what gets filed in
COURT--NOT with the Department of Justice--laying out the specifics of
a claim, requiring the defendant to appear in Court and answer.
The Department of Justice is headed by the Attorney General, John
Ashcroft.(So, good luck, there). So, apparently, what you have done
with this "RICO" "Complaint" is send a lengthy letter, citing
"actionlyme" numerous times, to some poor schmuck attorney over at
DOJ, who has to now figure out what to do with it.
Could you do me a favor? Please? Tell me EXACTLY where this "fraud"
is. Fraud is also a term of legal signifigance. The elements of a
fraud claim have to be satisfied--either in common law or statutory.
It is NOT simply as your dictionary terms it "deceit". (Please do not
refer me to "actionlyme"--been there, done that, don't get it--don't
see it).
In addition, to be able to maintain ANY legal claim--you have to be
able to tell someone--anyone-- how you have been damaged by the
wrongful act you are complaining of. Speculative damages don't cut it.
At one time, I thought the idea was that by removing OspA and B from
the CDC diagnostic critieria, that multiple Lymies had been
misdiagnosed and were suffering as a consequence.
The rather obvious problem with that theory, however, as you well
know, is that the diagnosis of Lyme disease is a CLINICAL diagnosis.
The CDC critieria were developed for the purposes of surveillance
(reporting)and for qualifying study participants, as there was an
obvious need to have some standard for agreement concerning who
actually has Lyme disease.
There are a lot of problems concerning pressing legal actions for
misdiagnosis of Lyme.
The most important consideration, however, is that the responsibility
for correct diagnosis and treatment lies with the examining physician.
Lyme serology is an indirect test--not indicative of actual infection.
If physicians relied solely on CDC diagnostic critieria, exclusive of
symptomalogy--then it is their error, and theirs solely.
The removal of the OspA and B bands are IRRELEVANT to this issue.
I know that you are aware of the GAO report which investigated the
conflict of interest issues concerning the development of the Lymerix
vaccine. I agree that it "smells"--there is a lot that should be
explained--gist for further Congressional investigation.
The report, however, did clear the participants of wrongdoing, as
their conflicts had been waived by officers of NIH or CDC(who,
astonishingly enough) have, apparently the authority and ability to do
so. (Nice work if you can get it).
WHERE'S THE FRAUD?
Can you, please, for once--be specific? I am trying to understand
here.

I'll be glad to testify to DCF that you are a good mother and the kids adore
you. I've seen it firsthand. And as far as the politicking goes, there's
an old saying that is something like this: "They came for the Catholics and
I didn't speak up because I am not Catholic. They came for the Protestants
and I didn't speak up because I am not Protestant. They came for the Jews
and I didn't speak up because I am not Jewish. Then they came for me, and

Want to know why?
Well, can't see too well--especially out of my right eye.(This stuff
is very difficult for me--wears me out). Have a lot of trouble
walking--tend to fall down--especially when attempting to rise from a
seated position--tough when they say "all rise"--and you fall
down--doesn't inspire a lot of confidence in you from your clients. I
tend to shake very badly--especially when stressed. 4 abnormal
echocardiograms out of 4--bad news for stressful occupations.
Until very recently--had a lot of trouble speaking--slurred,
chronically hoarse voice. Got so bad I took to writing things on a pad
so I could then show it to someone--
Had a neuro-psych exam done--you'll never guess--concentration
problems--attention deficits--probable slip(dramatic, in IQ).
Any ideas why?

with anything. Sorry, I've been very focused on the what goes on

I would suggest to you that we are all, somewhat victims, at times, of
allowing ourselves to believe what we would like to believe. I agree
with you that Lymies need truth. Truth, however, is in the eye of the
beholder--an elusive concept.
I think we all feel that we have been victimized, treated very badly
by the medical and scientific community. It is very hard, however, to
really put a finger on "it", as Ms.Dickson keeps referring to it--to
put a name on "it".(First, "it" was deemed "fraud", then it was
"antitrust", now "it" is "RICO"--which is utterly ridiculous).
I would suggest to you, however, that you need to be careful with
this. There is a great deal of difference between horribly bad and
inhumane public policy decisions, incomprehensibly inane
"science"--and actual, intentional wrongdoing.
Accusations of "fraud" and criminality--if not true--are LIBEL. Don't
you have any conception whatever of how just slinging these
unsubstantiated charges around--throwing them at anything that
moves--impacts negatively on the credibility of the Lyme community?
You can't even answer basic questions without resort to namecalling
the type that one would expect from gradeschoolers.
Let me try it this way--see--generally speaking--we have "good
people"(we call them: "plaintiffs"), and "bad people"(we call
them:"defendants")--and the "bad people" do something bad to the "good
people" and they hurt the "good people" and the good people go to a
man we call a"judge" and the "good people" say: "Your honor, the "bad
people have hurt us. We have been wronged. We are damaged". and the
man we call the "judge" says, "yes. I agree. "Bad people" pay the
"good people" money to make them feel better".
So--you need to focus on being able to tell someone how it is that you
have been injured and why you are entitled to damages as a result.
And I have been trying to elicit this information from you--with no
result. It is not enough just to say "this is wrong"--not every wrong
is actionable.
Consider this, however. Take your misdiagnosis issue. Why focus on the
CDC? The CDC expressly states that Lyme is a clinical diagnosis.
If you go to an ID, as I did (I know, foolishly)at one time--the ID is
most likely going to consult the IDSA guidelines. These things were
drawn as an aid to assist physicians in diagnosing Lyme. In my opnion,
they are an absolute travesty and disgrace. There may even be the
possibility of a class action there. On the theory of
negligence--ignoring a considerable body of contrary and scientific
knowledge of other spirochetal diseases. In that case--the
guidelines--drawn up by the same cast of characters--the usual
suspects--have been suggested to be used that way and exclude people
on the basis on negative serology. The damages are provable. The nexus
between the act and the damages can be easily established. Anyone can
understand why someone whose immune system is otherwise
compromised--could not mount a sufficient antibody reponse--and that
you cannot reasonably rule out a diagnosis on the basis of an indirect
test.
We are talking about medical practices that do not conform with the
accepted "state of the art". This the type of thought process you need
to attempt, at least.
I have an idea? Why don't you try to focus your energies in a
direction that might actually accomplish something positive.

barking up the wrong tree here--and you damn well know it. I remember
the post pretty well--you said they told you that "it was a matter of
their data against yours"--and it wasn't worth it. To which you
responded by saying that you have always considered the law to be

I actually have a great deal of repect for your intelligence--and it

By the way,--I also, at one point, was a party to litigation in which
I was forced,very much against my will--to undergo a Court-ordered
physical exam at the hands of a rheumatologist who I believed to have
been engaged for the sole purpose of offering an opinion that I was
not suffering from Lyme. I kicked and screamed to my attorney and said
I wouldn't do it. My lawyer calmed me down and told me "just do it--if
he's that bad as you say, and doesn't know anything about Lyme--we'll
tear him a new one on cross. Don't antagonize the judge by being
obstinate and uncooperative".
It was horrible--like being raped. But you know what? My lawyer--she
was absolutely right. The pinhead wrote a report that noted the
positive bloodwork and reported that the non-confirmatory blot(41
only--Mayo did it)--EXCLUDED Lyme.
Settled the case--but the point is--I absolutely empathize and
sympathize with what you're going through.
Unsolicited advice--listen to your lawyer.Remember what power the
judge has over you--be careful.

No, I have read all of Mr. Drittemann's posts. I see that he is trying to
shed some light, ask some realistic questions, and share his own
experiences. I see that he is not telling you what you want to hear, and
that seems to be the problem. He leaves it open to be wrong or corrected or
at least to discuss rationally without name calling.
He is responding to what information is available to him and to all of us.
His suggestion of listening to one's own attorney seems like a realistic
response to me that, in no way, is offensive but helpful and on track.
If I were in such a situation, I would welcome what appears to be rational

Normally I would agree concerning your feeling about internet

Actually though, you have to wonder if it isn't appropriate here--if
it hasn't been placed "in issue" by Kathleen herself because of some
of her postings--which, I would suggest, you should read very
carefully.
I, for one, could have wished to be spared hearing about how her "ex"
exposed himself to their children--or what it has to do with Lyme
disease. Way, way too much information for my taste.

particularly at risk. The fact that relatives were responsible for the
allegations is again classic.Social Services operate in the US and the UK
under a policy of 'Divide and Rule' which makes the parent more vulnerable.

Yes, and I should point out here quickly--that I absolutely have
nothing whatever to do with that website--just ran across it

That's a part of the psychosis talking about non existent lawsuits and
saying that anyone who disagrees with your views is engaged in fraud.
For all of your talk of lawsuits against everyone on the planet, the
reality is that the only real lawsuits that have been filed in court
are the ones against you lisa where your kids were taken away, and the
one against kathleen where her kids are probably going to be taken
away.
There is no rico suit unless you mean clothes that rico suave is
wearing. There is no legal fraud. There are no lawsuits against yale
or anyone else. Those are all fig newtons of your delusional
overactive hallucinations and imaginations. There's no class action.
There is no civil rights complaint. No one from the DCF is being taken
to court or going to the bar discipline board. There is nothing going
on at the UN or anywhere else in respone to yours and kathleens
ravings.
The bottom line is that the only lawsuits have been filed against you
two and no one else. Kathleen was almost taken to jail and will be
when she refuses to comply with the judges order for a much needed and
long overdue psychiatric examination.
Neither of you has ever explained why if this is an organic brain
disease why a psychiatrist isn't the right one to be examining you.
Do you even know a neurologist in the us who would be better to deal
with Lyme. If so name her or him.
