Why would the "winner" spend more time and money appealing the recent
decision if the
"winner" "won"?

Dear Anon:

The LDF never sued.
Therefore, it is not appealing.
I suspect you know this.

I understand the other side just lost another appeal.

By the way. Why are you Anon? Are you afraid to put your name on your writings?
Is your purpose to spread false information and try to avoid being
responsibile for what you do and say? What kind of professional would do that?

Maybe he does not want to use his real name because you people are out of
control posting personal info (profiles) of AOL members who do not agree with
your views. I have seen it done many times in the last month on this newsgroup,
and if Anon or who ever he is does not want to use his real name its his
choice.

It is one thing when a person posts his opinions. It is another when he posts
insulting comments with foul language in order to disrupt the newsgroup. My
personal opinion --this poster has many anons. and is posting messages to
disrupt the newsgroup. I believe the people that have posted his profile know
exactly who this person is and his history of posting on the newsgroup. I
-pure speculation- believe this poster works for us-the taxpayers- and is
payed with taxpayer dollars. This is a very civil newsgroup. It becomes
apparent to the longtime readers of the newsgroup when someone posts in order
to disrupt the exchange of information on the newsgroup. This is exactly what
the anonymous poster is doing. He has a habit of using various aliases.

I wanted to find out for myself what the deal was. It is not uncommon to
make errors when it comes to procedural things. But I searched the web, and
could only find old information on the case. And I think I read all the
recent posts about it, but I couldn't find an actual decision any where.
Anyone know if it's available on the web?

TIA

Marianne
