Does a person usually feel pain in the lungs with lung cancer or do these
symptoms show up much later when it's too late. Just wondering since a
friend of mine who has unclear chest x-ray and feels a pain in his chest
feels strongly that it may be a "mets" from his primary cancer. Any insights
are appreciated. Thanks JJ

JJ

My personal experience is that the lungs themselves have no apparent feeling,
but the tissues around them do. If a lung tumor presses on surrounding tissue
you may feel pain in the surrounding tisue.

There is more searchable info on my web site.

Hope this helps
