I just came back to my desktop after a 2-week absence. Before filtering, there
were 45 posts, after filtering (AF?) only 13 remained. I tried a bit on Google
while I was in grandkidville, but that is just pages and pages of spam. Little
of the Google spam shows up on the eternal-september.org server.

The Google connection seems to be the death of the Usenet, and I remain
convinced that it is deliberate.
