Please be aware that the aforementioned Dr. is indeed a quack.
But just curious. How do you know that you have insulin resistance?
This typically is hardly noticeable when the hips are narrow (less
than 35 inches).
Would suggest you consider weighing your meals in order to eat less,
down to the optimal amount (32 ounces per day) and to change your diet
to foods that do not fill you up (ie your favorite) to become
healthier (hungrier) than ever.
If your WHR (Waist to Hip Ratio) is high (more than 0.85 for men and
more than 0.75 in women, you still have VAT even if you look very
lean.
