I did a serarch for blood pressure software and turned up quite a few
offerings. Before I download and test these myself, can anyone
recommend a program that will let me enter blood pressure readings
generate reports or averages so I can see trends?
I may be switching BP meds and I'd like to see what effect that has.
Thanks

I think my readings are fairly accurate. I have an Omron HEM-780 BP
monitor. It has a option to take three consecutive readings with up to
a 2-minute wait in between. It then averages the three readings. I am
sitting quietly that whole time.
In any case, many sources, including my cardiologist, tell me that BP
varies quite a bit even when read correctly.
I see several software offerings that will plot the readings and
generate reports showing how BP varies during the day and from day to
day. I was asking if anyone had any experience with any of them.

>Prayerfully in the infinite power and might of the Holy Spirit,
Dr. Chung,
Prior to posting my question here, I read through some of the recent
posts. I see that you have posted a lot in this ng. In every post,
there is some religious comment. Many times, there is little else.
I am wondering what your objective is. As I see it, there are really
only two possibilities: (1) You are trying to do good or (2) You are
not.
Let's assume that #1. That is, you are a sincere believer who wants to
share his beliefs with others for their benefit. Do you realize that
your approach is doing more harm than good? Your constant preaching is
offensive to many. Do you realize that it is offensive? Do you care?
Some will take offense because your style is aggressive and invasive.
Some will take offense because this is the wrong place for this. Some
will take offense because your beliefs conflict with theirs.
In my opinion, religion is a private matter. I respect your beliefs
and I ask that you respect mine. By harping on your beliefs in this
public forum about cardiology, you are not respecting mine.
Your approach is actually hurting your cause.
Those who disagree with you will only become more hardened in their
disagreement. Witness the number of hostile and caustic responses you
get.
Those who might be open to your ideas are likely to be put off by the
style. I have not seen any replies where the person said that they
found your ideas and beliefs interesting and asking for more
information.
Even those who agree with you are probably uncomfortable with your
style. I have not read any posts defending your approach.
My point, in short, is this? Are you trying to do good? If so, I
suggest that your style is actually hurting your cause. You look
insensitive to others and you have become something of a caricature.
Of course, if you are not trying to do good, then your approach may be
a good one and everythinbg I have said has been a waste of time.
In normal people, blood pressure stays quite steady from one moment to
the next.

Would suggest you go with what your doctor recommends.

I am wondering why you did not answer my question about what you are
trying to accomplish with your preaching?
I thought of that. I'm not very good at Excel and I haven't ever used
any of the analysis or curve-fitting features. Do you have a
suggestion for where I might start reading?
Normal people do not require the services of a cardiologist.
Truth is simple.
GOD's purpose for me here remains to inform and not to either preach,
convince, or argue.

And people who do need a cardiologist, want a normal one not one like Chung
No doubt Chung will suggest the Bible since that is where he gets his medical
information
>GOD's purpose for me here remains to inform and not to either preach,
>convince, or argue.
If your purpose is to inform, how are you doing?
Suppose we sampled 100 random followers of this ng. How many would be
better informed because of your efforts? How many would be less
informed or completely turned off?
If you love Christ and want to bring people to Him, how are you doing?
How many of those 100 people are closer to Christ because of your
efforts? How many are actually farther from Christ?
Look at the responses you get. Most of them are hostile to you and
many are hostile to the Bible, to Christianity, and even to Christ.
How can that be good for Christianity?
I haven't seen one single response that was favorable to you or to
Christianity. Are you making people more open to Christ or more
closed?
Are you really doing Christ's work or are you driving people away from
Christ? Who are you helping more, Christ or satan? If you drive people
away from Christ because they hate the messenger, who are you serving?
How do you think Christ feels about your work? How many lambs are
saved because of your work? How many are lost because they could not
stand the messenger?
Are you an effective messenger and for which side?

Dear God
Andrew is one of God's children who is mentally ill and you really need to
turn your cheek when dealing with him - I think you should talk to your son,
Jesus, about that as he has lots of experience with that. You can never be
too old to learn from your children.
You also have to realize that Chung also brings much amusement to others on
the Internet with his troll-like activities.
I certainly hope your web site is not plagued with trolls and spam.
One quick question, if I may, that I am ofen asked, but do not know.
Do you, God, have a full name or are You like like Madonna or Cher or Charo

So GOD has approved of your actions? How has HE done that?
The polygamists that were just discovered in Texas also say that GOD
approved of what they were doing.
The Al Qaeda terrorists say that GOD approves when they kill and
torture.
The Pope said that GOD approved of the Inquisition.
Do you agree with these people?

Sometimes, sometimes not, but not everything that is simple is truth.

And what about my choice? Do you care about that at all?
I support your choice to believe whatever you want. I support your
choice to have Christian newsgroups where you can discuss theology and
salvation or whatever you want to. I would not go to those newsgroups
and post hundreds of messages on some other topic. I respect your
right to have a place to discuss what you want to. Why do you not have
the same respect for me here?

See, that sounds like you love me and want to help me, but your
actions annoy and irritate and disrespect.
How many people do you think you have brought closer to Christ as a
result of your postings here on cardiology. Whatever that number is,
how does it compare to the number you have annoyed and driven farther
away.
Are you sure you are not a tool of satan?

If you are a rational man, please think about what you are doing. From

But you didn't answer the question. How do you (or anyone) know what
HE desires? There are lots of other people with other gods all
declaring that they are doing what he wants.
And you didn't asnwer my other question: Do you care at all about my
choice to have a cardiology newsgroup that is not overrun by you (or
anyone) posting their beliefs?
And, do you care that you are clearly alienating many more people than
you are befriending? How can this be Christ's will? You are making
enemies.
Actually, I did.
> How do you (or anyone) know what HE desires?
"With man this is impossible, but with GOD all things are possible."

Prayerfully in the infinite power and might of the Holy Spirit,
OK. It's clear that you do not care what effect you are having.
Make a note of this: You are hurting the cause of Christianity. You
are driving people away. You are contributing to the stereotype that
Christianity is riddles with wing nuts who do not care about anything
and do not mind disrupting other people's lives. When you get to the
Pearly Gates, you are going to have to explain why you were a
detriment to the cause. You have been warned.
I'm done now. This was a colossal waste of time.
Can we report this guy to his ISP as a spammer?
Just filter him out.
Then, filter those who mostly reply to him.
If you do that to three of them,
you would have a decent newsgroup.

Simply the truth.
"I am the way and the truth and the life." -- LORD Jesus Christ (John
14:6)
Amen.
> It's clear that you do not care what effect you are having.
It remains my choice to continue to receive the guidance of the Holy
Spirit in everything I say, do, and write.
> Make a note of this: You are hurting the cause of Christianity.
Christianity is not a cause but rather a personal relationship with
the risen LORD Jesus Christ.
> You are driving people away.
Not for the discerning.
> You are contributing to the stereotype that
> Christianity is riddles with wing nuts who do not care about anything
> and do not mind disrupting other people's lives.
Without the LORD, your opinion is meaningless (Ecclesiastes).
> When you get to the

It remains wiser to continue to strive for HIS commendation:
"Well done my good and faithful servant." -- LORD Almighty GOD
Amen.
> You have been warned.
"Fear not those who can harm the body and do nothing more. Fear HIM
who can destroy both body and soul." -- LORD Jesus Christ.
Amen.
And so we, who are Jesus' brethren, reverently fear GOD and dread
nothing that is of this world:
http://TruthRUS.org/DreadNought
> I'm done now. This was a colossal waste of time.
GOD is the Source of all time and provides all that is needed for the
good work HE planned in advance for HIS children to do.
> Can we report this guy to his ISP as a spammer?
If you wish to bear false witness thereby breaking one of GOD's
commandments, you have the free will to unwisely choose to earn HIS
condemnation through the commission of such sin..
"The wages of sin is death." -- Holy Spirit.
Amen.
Indeed, even just having such thoughts is sin and simply shows that
you are among the lost:

The brethren of LORD Jesus Christ are neither perfect nor more

May you wisely choose to be forgiven too by publicly declaring with
your mouth that "Jesus is LORD:"

Lurfys Maw - since only a few respond to monkfish's endless inane questions
and endless comments about crossposting which he himself does, he is as much
a troll as Chung, so blocking out Chung and Monkfish will take care of your
problems - monkfish is trying to out Chung Chung, but he isn't even in the
minor leagues as takes no imagination to ask questions.
It is funny, that Monkfish thinks he is being so clever and cute, whereas he
is really stupid and droll. The laugh is really on him.
It is interesting and amusing to see his endless questions when anybody does
respond and all his questions to which no one responds - he seems to want any
attention at all - any sign that others recognize that he does exist.
He stays on this list rather than the other one because is very little
original postings and recently one of the ones trying to have a discoruse,
gave up and stopped.
Like Chung's web site posts, I am sure monkfish, if he does responds, will be
with some question about meaning or some derogatory question about me.
Best advice is not to feed the trolls like Chung and monkfish, unless you,
you like to have some fun at their expense.
You don't even understand what crossposting is, do you?

I notice Andrew starts calling people "neighbor" right before he convicts
them. Why is that, Andrew?
I must have psychic powers because I predicted exactly what was going to
happen and it did and also you set it up so that the reponse would only go to
ACT which no one reads.
I suppose the question is are you that stupid to think you are being
intelligent with your questions or are you just troll trying to compete with
Chung. For your sake, I hope it is the latter and not the former.
>
> I notice Andrew starts calling people "neighbor" right before he convicts

Like Casper, Chung sometimes is the friendly Ghost
You are still clueless about crossposting.
I'm trying to understand God better here.
I'm willing to do so all by myself.
You are not welcome here

Could be anything but I think it could be Chung's cryptic way of warning
posters who are pissing him off that he's about to convict. But given that
Chung is intellectually a dead man walking who's incapable of coherent
thought we'll never know for sure.
That's a good start.
