in the hearts of the very elect (including the Disciples of our LORD
Jesus Christ) after failing in his attempt to use it against our LORD
(Matthew 4:4 and Luke 4:4) and continues to plant this lie in our
hearts to this very day.

This great lie blinded and deafened Cleopus and Simon on the road to
Emmaus (Luke 24:12-32).

Truly, we have all fallen short of our LORD's glory and will continue
to do so without HIS help.
