For a PhD candidate in the medical/scientific fields, he would have to
present evidence and it would not be the responsibilty of those giving
him the PhD to prove him wrong, but his responsibility to justify his
claims.
In the medical, and scientific, world it is the onus of the one
proposing something new to provide proof, not the others to disprove
it.
Since this is, at least in name, a medical site, then should expect
evidence based medical postings, especially by someone with an MD
after his name.
I would imagine most on this list are familiar with Chung's numerous
postings and what he advocates and that they are not based on medical
evidence but a "discerning heart."
Evidence based medicine is different from "discerning heart" based
medicine. There is no way to carry on a conversation between people
using the evidenced based and the discerning heart based.
Evidence based medicine has been around and successfully used for
years.
Chung's medical and PhD degrees and his specialty boards were based on
evidence based system.
Since Chung likes to quote scripture, need to look no further than
Proverbs 23:9 for trying to carry on any discussion with Chung:

I don't think so. Do you really believe moths are drawn to open flames
where they can have their wings burned off so they can get to their
destiny with the moth-god more quickly? I think science has discovered
that it is the *light* of the flame that attracts them--and many other
kinds of insects as well. Moral: More light, less heat, Doctor.

Well, sure, but without the LORD, all your thoughts are meaningless
(somewhere in or near Ecclesiastes, apparently; Andrew refuses
to be more specific. with good reason).

Actually that bizarre behavior seems to be a result of the
fact that moths will fly so as to maintain a fixed angle
with the moon. As a navigational algorithm, this works
great -- if your light source is effectively at infinity.
But if your source, your highly unnatural light source, is
actually close by, the result is a circle, and that circle tends
to tighten up into a spiral, with unfortunate consequences.

Actually I, and some others, were on the list and are not it any more
