Bottom line:
Overeating --> VAT --> IR/MetS --> type-2 diabetes
Overeating is eating more than 32 ounces per day.
Here's how to eat less, down to the optimal amount:

Andy: God has revised these numbers. He now says that men should have WHR of
no greater than 0.75 and women no greater than 0.65, and that if your
numbers are greater than this, you're a glutton and a sinner.

Again, this has been revised.
New bottom line:
Overeating --> Burn in a lake of fahr furever!

Wrong. Overeating now is eating more than 2 ounces a day. As such, you are
eating 1,600% more than God prescribes, you sinful porky turd.

Wrong yet again. Your gluttonous 2-pound diet shows that the holy sprit is
absolutely right to convict you. Repent, fatass.
BTW, my stomach is laughing and singing really loudly at your trying to get
$550k for that domain name you're squatting on.
Without the LORD, your fantasies are meaningless (Ecclesiastes).
This simply shows that the Holy Spirit is absolutely right to convict
you:
http://HeartMDPhD.com/Convicts
No, fatass, he convicted you. Objective, irrefutable proof coming up right
here after the colon: www.CrazyConvictedCardiologist.com (if it comes up 404
that means you're going to hell)
BTW, I'll sell you that domain name for only $650,000. That's a real bargain
because cariology.com sold for $550k and my domain name has more words in
it.

The WHR (Waist to Hip Ratio) is a highly inaccurate measure. I am a woman,
and my WHR is 80. The site which did the calculation for me suggested that
I might want to talk to a doctor about losing weight. Then again, I might
not. I am 5'6" tall, and weigh 118 pounds. This is the same as I weighed
two years ago at the time of diagnosis. I am not overweight.
The WHR is not a one-size-fits-all measure. I happen to have a straight up
and down figure, always have, doubtless always will. The WHR does not work
for people like me.
Donna Evleth
It has been validated by clinical research to match very well with the
presence of VAT.

You probably mean 0.80.

Would suggest you have your WHR measured by your doctor and have him/
her advise you on what to do about a WHR greater than 0.75.

We are finding that VAT is bad even in folks who are not overweight.
> The WHR is not a one-size-fits-all measure.
For a woman to have a WHR of greater than 0.75, it would be a
clinically validated indication of VAT.
> I happen to have a straight up

Not if you were to lose all your harmful VAT.
> The WHR does not work for people like me.
It is simply an indication of the presence of harmful VAT and would
explain any insulin resistance (IR/MetS).

Bondservant to the KING of kings and LORD of lords.
Regarding the subject line, this is absolutely correct. But on the
other hand everyone alive has vat. The missing term here is excessive
vat.
Vat is an endoctrine gland which produces hormones for the normal
function of energy metabolism.
Our armchair ponderer got himself in a bind because he first read
recently about excessive vat and in his confusion and zeal to add it to
his wholly invented two pound diet, aka 2 pd etc. agenda, did not do his
homework on it carefully. Now fear of loss of face prevents him
correcting himself as his agenda also projects him as darn near perfect
because of the use of "chi" as a magical power providing "discernment".
To correct himself would put in peril the entire house of cards.

Why do I have to do anything about it, if I am not overweight?

Please tell me more about VAT, which I had never heard of before.

"Visceral adipose tissue, which is the source of poisonous
adipocytokines, which cause subclinical systemic vascular and tissue
inflammation."
Incorrect in being misleading and only half the truth. One must add "in
excess" to validate the above. All have vat, it is an endoctrine gland
producing hormones used in normal energy metabolism, when not "in
excess".
Only one more example in a long string of them that shows:
Not keeping up with current research in this area, pursuit of a
non-science agenda in this area, ignoringresearch completely refuting
the agenda in this area.
In sum a good reason in complete peace of mind to ignore the author.
God bless.
> I shall ask the question I should have asked first: what is VAT?
Value added tax (VAT), or goods and services tax (GST), is tax on
exchanges. It is levied on the added value that results from each
exchange. It differs from a sales tax because a sales tax is levied on
the total value of the exchange. For this reason, a VAT is neutral with
respect to the number of passages that there are between the producer
and the final consumer. A VAT is an indirect tax, in that the tax is
collected from someone other than the person who actually bears the cost
of the tax (namely the seller rather than the consumer). To avoid double
taxation on final consumption, exports (which by definition, are
consumed abroad) are usually not subject to VAT and VAT charged under
such circumstances is usually refundable.

> Why do I have to do anything about it, if I am not overweight?
Because Mr. Chung is a quack. A con-man masquerading as a physician,
fired from the only position he ever held in the medical field after 90
days because he was unable to provide a minimum standard of care
required of the newest intern, who makes medical diagnoses and
prescribes treatments based on his scam du-jure, his "shoot the arrow
then draw the target" approach to life, and very little else.
You see, and if you read more than two or three of his posts, you will,
Mr. Chung appears to believe that virtually all health issues are caused
by VAT, and getting rid of VAT can cure everything - despite the fact
that his supposed experience in doing so has not affected his mania, his
paranoia, his delusions or any of the other symptoms of his obvious
mental illness whatsoever.
