Our LORD will wipe away our tears.
In my ever-closer walk with HIM, WE visited with sister Iris, who is
98 years old and who nearly died from being mauled by a pit bull last
year. She told me that during the attack she looked heavenward and
prayed "dear Father there is much for me to do here to glorify you but
if it is Your will that I retire from here now, I am ready." Then,
the animal simply stopped attacking. WE then met with Dana, who is in
her twenties and was strikingly beautiful. "Do you believe in the
LORD?" sister Iris asked. "Yes, ma'am" neighbor Dana replied. "Do
you believe HE was crucified and is now risen?" sister Iris pressed
urgently. "I am Jewish." neighbor Dana replied. "Many are Jewish and
believe. You can too, starting now, if you choose" sister Iris
replied. Dana looked at me with pleading eyes. The Holy Spirit
guided me to give her a warm embrace and to let her go. Then WE
shared about the thief that received HIS salvation at the last moment
as he was dying on the cross. "LORD remember me when You come into
Your kingdom" the thief asked Jesus and HE replied "You will be with
ME in Paradise."
Most assuredly, without doubt, I know HIM to be kind, just, and right.
The brethren of LORD Jesus Christ are neither perfect nor more
special...

My, raised two sons and what feels like twenty of their friends.
Andrew, I bought a house you know where. A great place, seriously. God
timed my interest and His direction to it. As soon as I drove up the
driveway, I knew it was home. 20 acres to this day in a greenbelt, no
neighbors, privacy complete; necessities for me.
So we could open up our house to sons friends, many who had problems
with parents. Many who wanted respite, an adult to talk to about their
problems.
MoM Mu, Andrew, she cooked meals and cleaned up and worked like a slave
for, let me count, 15 years? Yeah, more like 20.
I started athlete training out of this, hell, I figgered if we had to
feed, cloth and habitat the neighborhood, I might make a few assdimes,
you know? lol
Each a blessing? Absolutely. Best time of our lives.
I get calls, dozens to this week, wanting help. It feels good.
It would feel better if I could get their credit card numbers to bill.
