Looking for a Canadian mathematician...

I've been told that the problem of constructing floor(n/2) edge-disjoint
Hamilton cycles for the binary hypercube of dimension n was solved by a
Canadian mathematician at least 10 years ago. Unfortunately, my source
didn't give me a name or the reference. Any pointers would be greatly
appreciated.
