Need a supplier for prototype piece of FR4
Can anyone recommend a good supplier for a small order of FR4? I need a rather big piece, say 0.75" x 8" x 8". I expect to need only one. It would be nice if they take credit cards, and don't have problems dealing with an individual for personal use. (Yes, that's right, I'm going to make drugs and/or explosives... more »

Small volume PVD/CVD service needed
I'm working on a project and will require about 100 components (3" x 3" stainless steel, flat sheet with curved lip on 3 sides)coated with TiN. effects of strain
I'm studying strain effects on semiconductor materials and i've found that strain remove degeneracy in valence band: tensile with lh upper to hh, compressive with heavy-holes upper to light-holes. I don't understand the effects on bandgap: for example tensile compression increases or decreases the bandgap (respect to unstrained material)?... more »
